Chatham-articulate
Bruschi Passion
Curran/Reiss- objectivity in the media world
I'm putting together a list

Now start a list of the blowhards and hot takes crowd who haven't read past the headlines. Might take a bit longer :)

Chatham's fantastic...he's biased toward the Pats historically but he's 100% spot on here, no bias just facts. Good for him, hopefully this clip makes it's way to some national media outlets because he destroyed the entire Wells report in about fifteen minutes.

Outstanding. This only makes me even more angry if Kraft and Brady's organization doesn't come back at this with guns ablazin'. I just can't believe the attention that this thing has gotten. If anyone does not see this as a witch hunt, you are just a biased, Patriots hater. Bradys character has been destroyed. Nothing will bring that back. And Brady should sue these bastards and hunt them to the end of the earth. I really don't know how I can continue to invest my time and money into this organization if this actually becomes a penalized offense

We need a national non patriots guy to speak like this.

I'd love to hear what Kirwan has to say but, let's face it, a lot of guys are going to avoid this. When the league owns one of the media outlets and the major one is corrupt, sensational and unreliable, why would somebody who feeds his family via media jobs take a stand?

Well don't put it on CSNNE they are strolling all the blowhards through there.

Accidentally came across it just a few minutes ago and douchebag felger was going on about how the Pats fans are in denial and are grasping at straws and the report is 100% truth and that the Pats covered it up and refused to cooperate.

And then of course plagiarist borges is there, he's been on CSNNE every night since the report came out.

Finally a non pats player/fan

Finally read Wells Report. Yawn. Barring any new developments, I've yet to see anything that warrants discipline. Chill w/ the hyperbole.

@steviebfortwayn @JasonLaCanfora Not at all. Just haven't seen anything to prove cheating happened, yet.

This is just my opinion, coming from a pretty informed place, ignoring headlines, hyperbole, and rampant speculation.

If new developments emerge that suggest I'm wrong, I'll acknowledge them. But to date, I just haven't seen it.

If anyone is wondering whether to listen to this or not, let me make it easier.

This guy hit a Grand Slam, a Touchdown, hit a 3 pointer with a basketball, scored a soccer goal, hit a hole in one, scored a hockey goal, won a Nascar race, and won a chess match against a grandmaster.....all at the same time.

MUST LISTEN TO THIS!!!

Just listened...

All of the above plus Pedro vs CLE in 1999 Game 5 ALDS.

I especially love the way he shredded Damien Woody. Matt does his home work.

Felger is taking a number angles here.
1) Resident contrarian as he always has. Hes trying to argue the other side and thats fine.
2) Doesn't want to be perceived as Pats suck up.
3) Wants to irritate the locals and create an emotional volcano. Good for ratings.
4) He knows people hate Borges. Again...emotional volcano.

He and Curren went at it a couple of nights ago. If Felger had Matt Chatham on he'd kill him.

Which was really to be expected for him but for him to take shots at Pats fans and say they are in denial because we are bringing up the vast holes in this report while he takes the report as gospel is just hilarious.

Thats Felger. That is his act.

His problem is that he goes too far. Putting down Patsfans.com is hitting below the belt.

Given some time to prepare, I'd pick 30 or so posters that are on this board that I've gotten to know over the last almost 10 years and they'd shred him.

I absolutely love Matt Chatham!! I just wish more people would speak up about the inconsistencies in this joke of a report. I literally quit watching anything on TV about this because they were literally just showing bits and pieces that made it look bad, left so much out it was sickening. It's like they want this to be true, makes for a better story.

chatham is the man, and I've said this for a long time

my only criticism is he might want to lighten up on the metaphors in his writing

Best analysis of the Well's Report, the NFL and the media's reaction I've seen. Referring to Damien Woody's tweet about, "243 pages... using Sparknotes" and then blasting that biggest loser was classic!

Didn't wanna make a new thread but Zolak just tore into borges.

Apparently the plagiarist has been on CSNNE every night saying Brady warms up with McNally pregame and Zolak said Brady warms up with a scouting guy and said who would you believe? The guy that is 7 storeys up in a press box or the guy that is down on the field during pregame warm ups?

After hearing Chatham I'd nominate him. Felger and Mazz had Portnoy on Friday and while I didn't listen, I'm sure it was an embarrassment. el Pres is all about the clicks from Pats homers, I doubt he's done his homework and probably conflated or confused numerous aspects of the report (probably torn apart by Felger, who to his credit probably read most if not all of the report).

Chatham, though, would slay Felger. He's smart, articulate, quick witted...for all Felger's faults--and really they're not faults, they're calculated moves--he's well spoken, clear and able to counter-punch with the best of them. But Chatham would annihilate him, and it would be glorious to watch.

This is the skinny on Borges.

Borges' dad was a mason. He busted his butt so his son could go to college (he'll tell you that too...any chance he gets). In his eyes, if you are not helping fulfill Borges' senior dreams for his son, you are insulting his dad. The other aspect of it is that he is just not as good of a writer as the others that were at the Globe (Willie McDonough, Leigh Montville, McCallum, McMullen, Gammons, Shaunessey, etc.). To make up for his own inferiority complex, he tries to make up for it by being a bully to get his story and create a "buzz" and make it a point of publicly embarrassing you. He pulled that on Pom-Pom after a TB game in 1997. He tried that with BB once he announced Drew would sit in favor of TB12. At that time, BB put him in his place and hes been on a crusade to shred BB and this entire organization whenever he has the opportunity. When his sources ran dry and had the creative juices of an aging rock singer, he resorted to plagiarism. He has now become a bitter man who will crap on just about anyone to make himself appear respectable.

There is a reason why he covered boxing. Its a manufactured sham of a sport. Just like him.

There...enough about Borges. He is not worth any more of my time.

Nope. From the parts I heard Portnoy was pretty spot on and when felger tried to get him on stuff he countered it pretty well.

Good to hear...I've seen him in other situations look pretty foolish and come off as a blind homer, I was hoping it wouldn't be the case here because F&M are enemies of truth and we need someone articulate to hammer home the bias of this report without coming across as a complete homer.

The chief Patriots hater, Ronnie Borges....an oldie but goodie.....He rips Belichick for drafting Seymour over Robinson/Terrell.....

How did that go for you Mr. Borges?
