I heard on the radio that I think Mike from Attleboro, who is a regular caller on 98.5, started up a hashtag campaign to tell Bob Kraft that if Brady isn't playing in the opening game because he is suspended, that Kraft should say a huge f*** you to Goodell and not present the banner before that game and wait for the next home game when Brady is back. I wholeheartedly support this idea.

Kraft needs to show support for Brady. Unfortunately, he cannot fight any sanctions against Brady or the team according to the CBA. His statement condemning the Wells report was a good start, but far from enough.

One thing that needs to be done is not give Roger his nicely wrapped kick off party he wants. Make the pregame before that Thursday night game a big steaming pile of crap for Roger to deal with. No banner. No mentions of the Super Bowl. Lots of chants of "Goodell Sucks!" (would prefer an empty stadium, but that will never happen).

I'm not a twitter guy or I would be posting this with all my Tweets, but anyone here who does. start using that hashtag.

No brainer here. Can't hang the banner without the GOAT, Tom Br4dy

It's a shame the Colts game is not a home game. I would have loved for the Pats to wait until that game to lower the banner.....even if Brady is not suspended. Just rub it in Irsay's face.

Honestly if Brady is suspended Pats fans shouldn't even enter Gillette for the Thursday Night opener.

I was thinking of going to the game but that all depends on what goes on with Brady. Hell I might buy 2-4 tickets and still not go if Brady is out for the game.

Ya I know that is sh*tty because that isn't fair to the 52 other guys but I think they'd understand.

Tweeted. Thanks for that info.

I hear ya. I have said that if TB12 is suspended my two seats will be empty. Who's next?

The problem is most of the seats will be filled with either Patriots fans or Steelers fans who buy tickets online from Pats' fans who refuse to go because they are protesting the game. If I thought it was realistic that everyone (or at least a large majority) who had a ticket would not go and eat the cost of the ticket rather than sell it, I would support a campaign like this. It just won't happen.

Could Mike Reiss get in contact with Kraft?

What about tweeting Reiss about this and seeing if he can help bring it to Kraft's attention?

I wish this would happen, but as I said, the likely outcome would make this game a Steelers' home game with 60,000 Steelers fans in the stands. And Goodell wouldn't care about that and it would only hurt the team.

Everyone should Tweet the Patriots' twitter account @Patriots.

The only banner the team should raise is one with Brady's #12

Well not if Pats fans keep their tickets which would be viewed as supporting the Patriot players.
