I think deflategate is over -- this is DEFAMEGATE

I like that.....it's essentially what this whole thing is about - we're going to take down this Patriot empire, and nailing Brady somehow looks like a good place to start.

This morning at my sons football camp I took a ball up to one of the other volunteers and said "can you pump this, I'm a Pats fans and don't know sh*t about proper inflation." It got a good laugh from the group, and everyone was pretty reasonable with the discussion. (Disarming them with a joke has worked my entire life, I have it down to a science) My final thoughts during were "we've got 4 Super Bowl rings and I don't care what the media trumps up".

Also, whenever someone starts a story about why they hate the Patriots, it always starts with "so I worked with this super annoying Patriots fan..." and that is a big problem also. Winning makes the bandwagon go far and wide, and most of those types are the in your face fans who run and hide when things like this happen.

Least we didn't give a wife beating POS a standing ovation. If nothing else, we aren't the Ravens. I'll take a cheating reputation any day over rooting for a scumbag organization like the Ravens.

Considering Exponent failed to prove that the balls were in fact deflated, I agree that Defamegate is the proper term. What else could this be about since there is no evidence that a crime occurred?

actually, my experience has been some ******* harassing pats fans because of the typical reasons, and then pointing the finger at the pats fan like they did something wrong by rooting for teh pats.

I even remember a story some guy told on a messageboard about trying to take a piss at an airport, or something, and making the fatal mistake of wearing some pats gear.
of course, some idiot starts jabbering at him at the urinal about pats fans being ****s, etc

LOL! that'd be me in the Baltimore/Washington airport 2 years ago in October. Thanks for reminding me...

I liked Tom Brady Sr's title best, "Framegate"....awesome!

I have news for you all...it's been "Framegate" since Roger Goodell was voted into the position of commissioner and Kensil quit as president of the NY Jets and became Goodell's second in command. That would make it NINE YEARS since "Framegate" began.

Even in the ridiculous : let's say TB12 is the crazy mastermind these fans from other teams suggest. That he has, for his entire pro and college career, made sure underlings always release air from every single football he has ever thrown or touched. Explain the Colts game. Explain the SB. How did Brady pull those off when all eyes were alerted ?

What I find genuinely disturbing is the amount and intensity of the hatred fans of other teams, members of the media, coaches, players, front office types, et al have for BB, Brady and the Pats, in general. It's like they're rapid dogs in a frenzy. Hey, over my many years following sports, there were teams I hated, i.e. the Yankees, the Lakers, the Pistons, the 76 ers, the Jets, the Colts, etc. But, the hysteria of hatred and vitriol surrounding this franchise and its principals is unparalleled. Honestly, I wouldn't be shocked if someone affiliated with this team ended up being the victim of a violent crime. These people are f###### insane.

FrameGate/ DefameGate are both good:

1. They are trying to wreck Brady's legacy for a .3 psi possible pressure loss that they cannot account for in their extensive 5 million dollar scientific joke. Put all their numbers together and add it up ( ideal gas law pressure loss of 1.13, uncalibrated gauges at .47 psi, wet ball effects of .3 psi + other factors not listed in the report such as rain temperature and evaporation) and you'll get that they were saying that McNally potentially deflated those footballs by an average of .3 psi. Wow.

2. In the report it states that footballs lose pressure as predicted by the Ideal Gas Laws but how many times did we have to watch in pain ex-players throwing footballs saying "I can feel the difference of pressure in this one" , Or "how did Tom Brady not feel the pressure difference in those footballs? " But all along anytime those idiots played in a cold weather game they played with footballs that were deflated due to temperature and they never noticed the difference. What a joke. What a serious joke.

This was definitely Frame or Defame gate and those ex-players jumped right no board slaughtering a mans reputation with BS like that.

Some of you might identify the author of the following quotes - I just want them evaluated on their own merits as they relate to DeflateGate

Do you know that one of the great problems of our age is that we are governed by people who care more about feelings than they do about thoughts and ideas.
Social media/internet in general - DeflateGate in particular. The bandwidth of the vitrol might literally fill a server farm covering several football fields (the size of Google and Microsoft farms) - seriously pretty big if somewhat smaller. Would you believe the Mafia has rigged horse racing for 15 years unnoticed? Essentially that's what haters are saying the Patriots have done to the NFL, although more than occasionally they waffle and say they are bought out by the Giants. Or Steelers. It depends on how they hate at the moment :D

There is nothing logical or consistent in DeflateGate compared to any other sports scandal. All over a possible equipment violation.

If you just set out to be liked, you will be prepared to compromise on anything at anytime, and would achieve nothing.
Hello Goodell!

I've been reading "deflategate" articles for a few days and I can't fathom how many people hate TB12 and the whole Pats organization. I am from Poland, where sometimes so called "fans" fight each other or even are ready to get someone's hurt in the name of the club ( it;s so sick !). I always admire Americans for being relaxed and calm especially in the matter of sport, but no hard feelings - some of your journalists and fans are alike to so called fans from my country . I ma also shocked over 70% of the society is eager to crucify TB12 and ruin his stellar career because of what? To me they are so frustrated and want ot join the group to be strong ( doesn't matter what group, the point is we are together, scream loudly and want to find someone's guilty). I know, maybe I'm old-fashioned, NFL is a business, but TB has been working so hard to be where he is now, to be one of the greatest players in the history or even a GOAT. With no clear evidence of being guilty let TB12 to be TB12 and do his job. Go Pats, go Brady!

Like the new valve caps that radio the air pressure to the dashboard, are we going to have that on footballs?

every country has their share of idiots --- they're all over the world.
luckily for us, we got one of the good ones from your country instead of a knucklehead.

GO PATS!
