HYPOTHETICAL: What is everyone's confidence in Jimmy should the NFL (unfairly) suspend Brady?

I find it sad that people think there is even a chance Garoppolo plays, if Brady gets suspended he is going to Federal Court and getting it overturned.

I hope you're right, I know nothing about the legal system, though, so, well I just hope you're right.

@Buffalo will be tough but I have full confidence in JimmyG. He should get extra time with the 1s in camp and preseason games. I'll be surprised if he isn't at least league average.

I'll be surprised if the league doesn't wait until the last week of training camp, just to deliver the news that they've been preparing months for (not really) in the hopes of somehow throwing Belichick for a loop.

Obviously, Goodell knew very well what direction this was heading, and he knew it a long time ago. There had to have been a general consensus amongst Goodell and company as to what they were going to do with Brady, and I bet that was known awhile ago.

They're just fronting that they "suddenly got the news" in case there's actually one fan remaining who really believes that it was an "independent investigation." This is just another way for them to keep Brady and the Pats in the negative attention spotlight for another week or so, until they give their ruling on his suspension.

It's really a weird attempt at blending the legal system and the Collective Bargaining Agreement. There's the NFL appeals process, then arbitration, which would both come before litigation. Taking the case to court would simply be in the hopes of getting a second date with an arbitrator again, where the NFL would be arguing that Brady already had his shot with arbitration. The long arm of the NFL would likely do its best to drag the process on for as long as possible, which may already be underway, and that may have been so for awhile now.

The idea that Brady could somehow get through these two processes AND get past the 4 month long wait in federal court that it recently took from the date of filing until the reinstatement process (Adrian Peterson) in time to play in meaningful games this season is really seeing things in an optimistic light. I would have a hard time seeing the timeline matching up in a beneficial way, unless it were at least a 6-8 game suspension.

It'll be an improbable winning season for JAG, leading to an AFCCG victory that benefitted from an obscure rule about when the football is tucked, then culminating in a 70 second drive against an all time powerhouse offense that puts Gostkowski in position to kick a last second, super bowl winning FG.

Then 3 months later a fully independent investigator will release a report that states it is more likely than not Gostkowski filled the football with helium, with the report relying heavily using pictures of the Hindenburg and expert testimony from a Clown that shows up to kids parties with a tank to blow up balloons.

Jimmy=undefeated. And then he will receive a name longer than that dragon chick on game of thrones.

Jimmy "Aladin" Garopollo, heir to the goat, the destroyer of secondaries, etc

The day may come when jimmy will be tested.
But it will not be this day.
Today we fight.

For Tom Brady.

Schmalzy i know.

If s tree falls in the forest and no one is there, does it make a sound?

Yeah, but who cares?

Watch Jimmy throw, watch Jimmy run, watch Jimmy score.

Hopefully jimmy is the 2nd best QB in this division.

JAG will split wins and losses.

Brady could be the next Wally Pipp / Drew Bledso.
