Woody, Bruschi get in heated discussion over Brady and Deflategate

Woody is hung up on the deflator word. It was said in may. What is the context of it ? Maybe mcnally's job was to have the refs deflate the balls to 12.5

It was May! Are they really talking about a clandestine air removal process four months into the off season?

And why don't people recognize that the same guys were talking about the balls being at 16 psi in October? If the earlier text is proof that they've been doing this for years, what the hell happened that game? You can't question their credibility on those numbers only to turn around and hold up the earlier texts as unfettered truth. So which is it? Did the refs notice the balls were deflated and pump in 5 pounds of psi during one of the TV timeouts? And if so, why wasn't that mentioned in the report?

blood sugar must have been low

To be honest , its very frustrating to point of these obvious things and read these and see NO ONE in the media seeing this which is as plain as day. Not a single article by the people mentions this. Even so called lawyers like florio have sided in the newcycle which sells. Its just extremely frustating. I wish Goodell or Wells had a Q/A where these questions are asked.

On air, someone should ask Woody if he knows that MacNally claimed the Defaltor nickname right after the game where the refs blew up the balls to 16 PSI. And Brady said to be sure they didn't end up that way again.

Then they should ask Woody if knows why some of the Colts balls were below NFL limits for PSI also. Then ask him why one ref found the Pat's balls ALL below the limits then found found the Colts balls ALL within the limits. If he had a bad gauge then all the balls should have been under or over. But this dude's measurements were all lower on the Pat's balls than the other ref and then all higher than the other ref's on the Colt's balls. More probable than not something fishy was going on, especially since he was the ref that blew the mugging in Carolina on Gronk and then was lambasted by the Pats. Hmm, more probable than not a coincidence?

The real point is Woody, like so many others just bought the 'report' as fact and closed their eyes to the rest because it was convenient. Clearly in this clip, Woody is convinced the kind of high moral standard Burschi describes - Brady would never ask someone to do something illegal - just doesn't exist. And that says more about Woody than it does about Brady.

Wow, Tedy sure has a lot of faith in Brady's word. It makes me feel that much stronger!

their discussion was not that heated.

Everybody keeps bringing up the deflator nickname. Why is it almost never pointed out that balls CAN be deflated, inflated, whatever, up until they are given to the refs for final approval? If he is one of the 2 main guys prepping the balls, OF COURSE he would deflate balls. Using this as "evidence" is driving me nuts, especially when it is obvious that the balls were OVERinflated at a Jets game (allegedly). Same with references to needles, etc.

Bru looked like he was really annoyed with what woody was saying....like when you have to listen to someone talk about something they have no idea what they're talking about. Haha. Woody's been on almost every espn radio show today. Had to change the station.

In sports circles, obviously, this is currently a very big story. Oh man! This is a time to make a career with just a few well placed sentences that viscerally strike the right chords among the public. Whether true, whether they believe what they are saying is not part of the career building.

So please take every erroneous thing said with that grain of salt. Woody is being presented with the chance to go from a former player that is regularly given a few minutes to spout off, to gettinjg his name repeated, maybe end up a regular on a more watched show -- maybe even leading to a commercial endorsement for Arby's or Funyons.

Upgrades to the penthouse are up for grabs! Stay tuned for the jockeying to get there....

Man Tedy is really leaving it all on the line for Brady. I really hope Tom really is innocent. Not that this issue is even a big deal tho. Only reason it's even a story is because it's the Patriots

Brushing had the knockout blow set up and let him off the hook. Woody said "I have tried to get an edge". All Bruschi had to say was "just because you're a cheater doesn't mean Brady is"

Woody never did anything illegal on the field, though he often cuts in line at mcDonald's.
