I think you have your anger heading in the wrong direction. I think Kraft's hands are tied.
Tied how? how are bob krafts hands tied?

I believe in Kraft's mind it's shield, god, family and team in that order.

Time to speak up Mr. Kraft! While other teams get little to no punishment because they suck, we get shafted because the Patriots are good! This is fine for fans, but the league should be more even handed! Not basing it's decisions on mob mentality. And speaking of this, the rest of the league would have received a warning letter about proper ball pressure if they seemed to have a question. But the Pats get a sting? And then a denial and all you do is what? NOTHING!!! That right there, without anything else should set you ablaze with anger. It certainly does to me.

At first I got angry about the bs, but that was before the Pats shut them all up with that remarkable, unbelievable, incredible, heart stopping sb win on the greatest clutch defensive play in NFL history.

Now I laugh at them.

Look at it this way. Would you rather be a fan of a losing team that all of the mediots love, like we had in the past, or would you rather be the fan of the unstoppable dynasty that everyone hates? I think the decision is an easy one.

I didn't want to be redundant after posting the same thing earlier here.

I seem to remember reading somewhere that the NFL tightened it's grip on the owners after going through legal battles with first Al Davis and then Jerry Jones.

It may also be that Kraft is using the proper strategy since nothing has come from Goody the Jet.

No matter what happens though, it's far more probable than not that Goodell will screw things up.

I am starting a petition to Mr. Kraft to grow a pair. I say, if they allow what the league is doing to us, opening day, we should send mr. Kraft a message and make the stadium look empty. Kraft always talks about loyalty and he isnt being loyal to his own team. Time to send him a message!

i don't know how the league could tighten its grip on the owners. ex. ive seen people sue for negligence even though they were warned about something being dangerous e.g. the women who sued a zoo after he kid was killed. She put the 4 or 5 year old on the railing of an exhibit of wild dogs, he fell in and was killed. she put him on the rail even though there was a sign warning people not to do that. Ive read of law suits going forward where someone actually signed a waiver releasing the company from liability if something went wrong. And when it did the courts allowed the case to go forward. So just cause an owner agrees to sign on to a constitution i don't see if that owner wanted to he couldn't sue. Now i don't think kraft even needs to take legal action, he just has to let it be known that hes willing to.

Kraft you go to bat for Tom or you will seriously piss off this STH. And I promise to spend less money. I will still go but I will no longer buy concessions. I have been to Gillette for every regular season game and playoffs since the stadium opened and bought a hot dog and a mountain dew at every game as a minimum purchase and if you upset me I will boycot concessions.

LMAO!

I think you have your anger heading in the wrong direction. I think Kraft's hands are tied.

Bob Kraft's hands are not tied. If Bob Kraft calls a press conference, all of the media will be there, and it will be broadcast contiunally on every news and sports channel.
Bob Kraft can say:

Tom Brady has done nothing wrong. I and my attorneys have reviewed the Wells report, and find significant inconsistencies and a conclusion that can only be drawn with speculation, innuedo and creating facts that are not in existence. As one of the 32 owners who will be paying for this report I am offended at the poor quality of work we received. I will strenously object to any penalty imposed upon Tom Brady, and I will offer my support to help him fight any punishment he receives by any means necessary.
I do not accept the Wells report, and will not sit by and accept an agenda driven attack on Tom Brady's character.
This is not over, it has just begun.

His hands are tied? No.

C'mon Bob, I've been a fan since 1960. I know right from wrong, and this is so far wrong it's pathetic. I don't see you supporting your QB, the one player who has brought more to this organization since its inception than any other. Time to get your moxie back - and get FIRMLY in his corner!

Dear Bob,
We've met several times at Smithfield. I believe you may remember my wife.
But I digress.
As to the current situation, I do not feel it appropriate or in character for you to go Al Davis on the league. However, by being so passive and accepting you are enabling the folks in power in the League Office who have malice towards anything NEP. They will not stop until they have totally discredited the Patriots SB legacy of this century. The coach, the QB, every employee of the NEP is targeted by these folks with an obvious vendetta. By passively indicating acceptance of whatever penalty may come you are indicating to those same relentless people that their next sting or whatever targeting the Pats, their players, their coach will not meet with any effective rebuttal or resistance.
If you think that your business relationships with the other owners or whoever is Commissioner will be effective in deterring this ongoing onslaught, you are sadly mistaken.
When you bought this team you said you were a fan and shared the viewpoint and the hopes and dreams of fellow fans. I believe that. But somehow along the way into the billionaire stratosphere you may have forgotten or minimized the role of the people whose unique talents and unrelenting dedication to the organization built it into what it is today. It is the owner's responsibility to stand strong for the legacy of the coach, the QB and the team and employees. Let the billionaire's boys club find another faux friend.

The Manning family and the media would love nothing more than to see Brady go down.
That would leave the real GOAT a CHEATER and Manning the GOAT due to not cheating.
That we know of as anything negative about P. M. would be and probably is buried.
Of, btw Mr. Kraft, no REAL support from you in this travesty is UNACCEPTABLE.

Thanks @AndyJohnson . You just pushed me over the edge.

I'm sending this in 20 minutes. Suggestions welcome.

Dear Mr. Kraft,

First and foremost, as a loyal Patriots fan and customer, I wanted to express my gratitude by saying thank you for your commitment to making the New England Patriots a perennial winner and a source of enjoyment for myself and my family. I admire you for all you have done for the region as your team is a source of pride for all of us.

In my line of work, I have the opportunity to travel globally. Everywhere I have been, once people notice my Patriots sticker on my luggage or see me wearing a Patriots t-shirt in the hotel gym or lobby, I receive a reaction. More often than not, people comment on how great your team is or how spectacular a player Tom Brady is. However, sometimes I am asked about Spygate. While the situation was unfortunate, I understood your position in wanting the issue to be resolved as quickly as possible. I'm sure you are aware that the stigma of your team being labeled a cheater is very hard for us fans. I can only imagine how painful it is for you.

I wanted to respectfully express my concerns with your press release dated 5/6/2015. While I appreciate the strong words you used to express your disappointment with the Wells Report, I am equally disappointed that you; based on the fact that your team is "1 of 32" have made the decision to accept whatever penalty Mr. Goodell and his office levies on your team.

As I type this, it is unknown to me what punishment, if any will be cast by the league office on your team or Mr. Brady. However I find it troubling that the very culture you have instilled in this organization- accountability, working hard and winning, you are in this particular case ignoring. It is disheartening that you would accept penalty for a crime that was not committed or even proven to have occurred. While I am certain that there have been discussions between you and Mr. Goodell that are sensitive in nature and would perhaps shed more light on the situation, the public perception is that you are not supporting an employee that has been incredibly loyal and very productive for you. I'm sure that Tom and yourself have a mutual level of trust and understanding on how "Deflategate" will be best handled. However the public perception of you as the moral compass and foundation of everything this team is built on, it seems to me that you are more interested in keeping the peace and protecting your business interests as opposed to fighting for what is right and just. As a fan, that makes me question what exactly this team and organization is made of. If I were an employee of a company and my CEO behaved as you have, I would seriously question if this was the kind of organization I wanted to be a part of.

I would welcome the opportunity to council you on how to defend you team publicly, remove the stain on your reputation and you team from further public scrutiny.

Best,
Robertweathers

Perhaps if someone sends him the Today Show poll that says 73% of America thinks the Patriots should forfeit their title, he will get out there and begin discrediting that piece of crap report.

It would be nice if a lot of people signed on to a letter like this.

It's really bothers me.

I'm still in draft mode. Plus I have some time to kill. :D

I believe that the owners have some sort of agreement? Bob can't fight this. He and the other owners hired a commissioner to handle these situations. As much as I can't stand it, that's why he simply has to grin and bear it.

No. He can't sue the league. But he certainly can be out there challenging the report, and its implications in the media. He certainly can defend Tom Brady. He certainly can say he will not accept certain penalties without fighting to the extent allowed, and he certainly can say he know Brady did nothing wrong and he will support him in a fight against any punsihemnet

Do you have an email address for Kraft?

My thought process was to use and send to...[email protected] and send the email to.

I'd like to think it's level-headed, professional and emotional enough that he'd freaking get off his butt and do something.

I would also have no issue sitting down with him and saying more. It's an embarrassment.
