I never thought I would be saying this but it is looking "more likely than not" that Tommy will miss at least some time for this ****ed up crock.

My opinion is based on the fact the league will face exponentially more criticism for not suspending Brady than they will for handing down a suspension heavy penalty. Furthering this argument is the fact Goodell has a solid track record of disciplining based on the court of public opinion, it seems less and less likely we will see Brady play 16 this season.

That brings us to Jimmy G... I personally like what I see with the kid and given 4 full months to prepare as an NFL starter there is reason for optimism if and when a suspension happens.

They can suspend someone who "may" have had knowledge about something that "might" have happened? Yah. Any suspension ruling would be attacked by even a novice attorney never mind one of the best in the business (Yee).

Did some of you actually read any of this or have any of you followed other high profile player VS NFL cases?

Goodell has no balls. If he suspends Brady because of public pressure, Brady will take the matter to court where the suspension will get lifted by the balless wonder and any judge in their right mind will toss out the report.

So what is the punishment going to be for the Seahawks for More probably than not being Generally aware that their second round draft pick lied about beating a woman unconsciousness?

The only ball inflation matter extant in the NFL that has any actual evidence behind it is Rogers' confessed efforts to dupe the refs into approving misinflated balls. What is Rogers' punishment to be?

Things always seem to go worse than our worst case fears when the NFL office is involved. I'm not optimistic we'll be getting any breaks on this ruling.

**** Sherman gets caught for steroids and says the sample may have been tainted and gets let off.

For Brady there is no proof and he may get suspended. This is ******ed. Can we deport Goodell to Afghanistan

There is nothing in the report that proves any wrong doing on Brady's part. But its not about facts at this point, it's about public opinion. They are two very different things.

Unfortunately... I think the "not cooperating" angle will be the out the league needs to hand down a suspension and have it stick.

They can save face in a way and say "we don't have enough evidence that he cheated but he didn't let Wells see his cell phone and we can't have that therefore...."

Brady will not miss a regular season snap over this. Any punishment handed down will be immediately appealed. The arbitrator will overturn the punishment based on the totally biased Wells report and all this hype will die down.

Yes, thank you. I was aware of that. And this thread is about Jimmt G playing if TB was to get suspended which he would appeal and win if he did.

Public opinion will never change...and who cares. When you are at the top, people are jealous and insecure.

And we all know thats how witch hunts end.

Google Tom Brady or the patriots and there will be endless articles about how Brady needs to be suspended.

If Goodell gives Brady a slap on the wrist 31 teams will be calling for his head and will say he is offering favoritism to the pats. The media will call him weak, incompetent and we will be hearing how Kraft is his boy.

Its either upset the pats or upset the rest of the world.

Everybody is calling for Brady's head and he will be giving the world what they want so he can save face from his past mistakes. He will be praised for his decesion and people will forget the Rice and Peterson debacle.

If Brady gets anything less than a 2 game suspension I'll be shocked. I think he gets 4-6 games.

The bigger the punishment, the more likely it is to be overturned.

...or more likely that it is reduced. BTW the opener is still of the board.

i am still hoping to see Garoppolo as starter a little bit later...;)

Or Allowing tainted balls to be used in the AFCCG. I think That is the Much Much bigger issue than lack of ball pressure
