Here in Greece all clear ! Most are Pats fans in NFL club. And ones who aren't really don't see what the big deal is.

I think it's a thing where it's a manifestation of insanity created over the years. I think I can say confidently that if news broke that some team in the world cup had a ball a fraction of an inch off specs the American public's reaction would range from "who cares, sour grapes" to "Wow, that's a pretty bad excuse for losing."

Its a big deal because it's the Pats and everyone has been told it's a big deal. It's almost like the sort of collective panic from the airing of War of the Worlds that in hindsight seems like it could never happen today.

I suspect in 50 years the idea that .3 psi caused a nationwide scandal will be marveled for how ludicrous the idea seemed. Like looking back at people who thought demons caused disease.

Where I work we have heated, (but in jest), arguments about cheating Etc....
So far I haven't heard one word about DEFLATE, aka, FRAMEGATE.
One coworker is a Colts fan and said his team should have shut up and played
football. He said the Patriots won fair and square.
In other news, Imbeciles seem to be, .......IMBECILES.

Majority diehard opposing fan reaction: "I knew they cheated! There had to be an explanation for why they win too much"
Casual opposing fan reaction: "Huh, how about that. Hey honey, what's for dinner tonight?"
Rarely a fan of football/masses: "When's the Bruce Jenner special report on?"

Bay area fans have been mostly rational. The local radio guys are more focused on the Warriors currently and when they mention it they don't even take it seriously some of them even laugh out how much air in footballs have caused this much noise national wise. As for the fans it's usually Raiders and 49ers fans they haven't given me **** haven't even talked about ir really they're more excited on the Warriors as they should be

I live in Fairfield county CT so most people around here are Jets and Giants fans. At work there is one guy about 10 years older then me who is a decently knowledgable cowboys fan and we talk football all the time. For someone who is generally smart, articulate, and we agree on 90% of the way football should be played I thought for sure he would be like this is garbage and who gives a ****. I spent 30 mins trying to show him all the inconsistencies in the report and what a biased p.o.s 244 page waste of space it was. Nothing doing, he still thinks where there is smoke there is fire and Brady had to know. He pretty much just heard the text messages and that was enough for him no matter how much I argued it was just two stressed out guys at work joking around (something him and I do frequently). This made me much sadder then it should because I believe him to represent 75% of NFL fans, love the game, spend enough time to know a thing or two without being "experts" and yet still thinks the patriots/tom brady are cheaters. I want to keep fighting the good fight but I am not quite sure how to do it anymore.
