im starting to think that he will be suspended for a year.

luckily he can appeal to a independent arbitrator. then, brady should file a lawsuit against this piece of **** league

This is the weirdest thing I've witnessed in a long time. Millions of dollars and over a hundred days to say "no tangible proof" but talk of a yearlong suspension ? And people actually believing it's legit ?

I don't want the NFL to have my personal cellphone. Can they suspend me from my job ?

OMG Run The Sky is falling..the sky is falling. LMAO

Brady is not getting a ban for a year with probably had knowledge.

Stop listening/reading the freaking media trolls stirring up crap!!

There is no way Brady gets suspended even 1 game .

You can put faith in whatever you think is fair. I will place doubt on the NFL.

I hope Brady gets suspended for some ridiculous amount of time because at that point he'll have nothing to lose and can drag the entire league down with him by airing out all its dirty laundry. And then sue them.

If he just gets fined he might just take it and that's the worst case here.

Wasn't this outcome expected coming from the NFL and Wells? This is nothing but a joke. I am honestly more disappointed at Kraft and BB right now for not coming out and supporting Tom.

There is little chance that an independent arbitrator would uphold even a single game's suspension of Brady on the basis of the evidence assembled in Wells' biased, conclusion-driven report. Aside from the rebuttable nature of all the inferences upon which the report relies in arriving at Brady's guilt, most arbitrators apply a "clear and convincing evidence" and not a "more likely than not" standard in any case involving the discharge or suspension of an employee for dishonesty. The logic for applying a higher standard in these cases is that the employee's reputation takes a hit if the employee is disciplined for that reason. Even the Wells Report doesn't purport to have such proof against Brady. So I wouldn't worry about Brady missing any games.

What's got me worried is that I suspect that the NFL knows that there is a good chance that any suspension of Brady would be overturned and so is devising some penalty for the Patriots from which there is no appeal, like the loss of a first round draft pick in the 2016 draft.

Costas just predicted 1 game suspension on Nightly News. Goodell must appease mob and demonstrate power.

Why would you punish yourself by giving up football?
You lose, and no one else is affected at all.

It's called having principals. Perhaps you can go on enjoying this sham league, unperturbed in supporting it with your ticket/merchandise dollars and viewership. Good for you.

I've already decided to completely quit this ****ty, hypocritical league with a following of barely literal hoi-polloi the day Brady quits. And until that day, this league gets not 1 cent from me.

They suspend TB and the NFLPA is going to feast on the league like a hungry vulture.

Any dicipline for A.Rodgers since he admited he likes PSIs 16 or higher. If they're gonna go after Brady then other QBs must be held accountable. One thing is for sure, now Refs will thoroughly inspect weight of footballs and who holds them until game time. I'm sure all QBs who dabbed alil in altering footballs to their liking are real happy about this BS.

same here, when haywood sullivan and the sox screwed up by not mailing the contracts on fisk burlifson, and lynn out on time i stopped watching them. Oh i have tuned in from time to time, but nothing permanent. i think the same would happen with the pats especially if kraft doesn't step up and allowes the league to use his team as a pinata. I now work on sunday afternoon and would have to pay so i could watch it on-line, so it would be easier dropping them.

I stopped watching the Sox for the exact same reason. I have never watched them since, including the Championship games. I used to know who played for them in the Minors.

I'm not ready to go that far yet with Football. As long as Kraft defends the Franchise. If he doesn't then he's a Schmouk and maybe I'll reconsider.

I watched the second half of the 04 seventh game, and when the final out was made i felt Nothing. Ive completely lost interest. I could see that happening with football the way it is now and will be if goodell and the owners continue to screw with it to squeeze every last dime out of it.
