The Published Wells Report.

Personally, I think it's getting on the far fetched side of things, but that's just my take. I'm by no means suggesting that my opinion is anything more important than yours. I'm just chiming in a group of messages, that's all.
But Wells actually did print unrelated texts to McNallys mother. It sounds to me like your basically saying "if you don't cooperate you have something to hide." I wouldn't let people search anything of mine on a fishing trip for evidence. I don't agree that it's incriminating.

The fact that Wells did not confine himself to information related to the investigation shows that Wells actions do not match his words.

Funny, this entire thread is filled with Patriots fans doing just that.

Also, it's incredibly ironic that Pats fans are all: "The NFL penalized us with no proof for Spygate!!!11" while today you're all: "They can't penalize us for Deflategate without absolute proof despite the mountains of evidence and everyone with at least a double-digit IQ knowing Brady was complicit in this!!!11"

I mean, not that there's a double standard happening here, or anything. Deus Irae, perhaps you'd like to chime in here; so were you legitimately penalized for Spygate, or do you need to be penalized for Deflategate? Can't claim both are illegitimate, since you flat-out told me I was wrong and they do need proof earlier in this thread. Just trying to keep the flow of misinformation - err, backtracking - err, supposition - err, facts straight, here.

Do you pretend to be ******ed or do you just not read anything in regard to what you're talking about. BB never denied what happened in spy gate. No one lied, the evidence of the Patriots filming in a non designated spot was clear. Even BB said they did it in front of 80000 fans. If they had known they were interpreting the rule wrong, they wouldn't have done it.

This is s hack job and you must be lacking the double digit IQ to understand that the science is shoddy, and the proof is circumstantial at best, but actually closer to shoddy investigative work.

Dear Roger, the Matt Walsh press conference fiasco was May the 13th of 2008, what a coincidence. What the eff do you love so much about this time of year? Is it your birthday or something? Do you celebrate this day with your NY buddies?

Plagiarizer borges is saying Brady is no longer a first ballot HOF.

Go hit another cripple you f*cking hack

He is the troll under the bridge. He only comes out when he thinks he can pile on when things are at their darkest. To you Mr Borges the plagiarizer. The one who still has a vote after being a plagiarizer. The one who....never mind.

There is just no more room for you in Boston. The losing days are over. Dan Shaughnessy and Ron Borges made a living off of negative sports energy in Boston. It's over dude, the coffers for all Boston sports are full. They are no longer needed to cast their dark gloomy articles in outdated newspapers. They write articles to turn the region against their sports teams and scoff at the fans that come and support their team.

McNally: Tom sucks...im going make that next ball a ****in balloon

Jastremski: Talked to him last night. He actually brought you up and
said you must have a lot of stress trying to get them done...

Jastremski: I told him it was. He was right though...

Jastremski: I checked some of the balls this morn... The refs ****ed
us...a few of then were at almost 16

Jastremski: They didnt recheck then after they put air in them

McNally: **** tom ...16 is nothing...wait till next sunday

Jastremski: Omg! Spaz

In what universe is this proof of anything dastardly?

Worst insinuation from these texts i have heard was that tom was "giving givts to these guys". If people actually read it there is no insinuation there at all. Jastremski actually says that McNally never gets given anything so he will organise some shoes for him.

This defamation of character is disgusting. I'm hoping some sort of "firing back" is done by either Brady or the Patriots. (PR firm, lawsuit threatened, etc.) They cannot just take this.

I think you've misread my comment, because I said nothing of the sort.

I said that I disagree with the notion that Brady didn't turn over his phone because he was worried about famous actors' phone numbers getting into the wrong hands. The truth is that he was probably screwed no matter what choice he made.

If I were Brady I would be giving the Patriots and Kraft an ultimatum to either support him or else. he deserves it will all the cap friendly deals etc... They owe him.

No worries. We're good.

Yes
So how toilet worthy are these 200 pages? Seems to me the only relevant, submissable information would be a handful of out of context texts. Followed by a scientific review that is less than perfect, from a questionable contributor.

I have already found numerous bus sized holes Maroney could still dance through for a td. I guess I'm wondering what a trained lawyer would expect if a second lawyer was privy to attack this streaming pile of wasted funds. I hope kraft and/or Brady end up fighting this, tooth and nail.

I suspect they will sublimate the anger . . . and take it out on their opponents.

The NFL publicly said they would eject Marshawn Lynch from the NFC Championship Game if he wore gold cleats. A one-game suspension for gold-freaking-cleats. Link: http://www.foxsports.com/nfl/story/...hawn-lynch-pete-carroll-russell-wilson-011815

I'm just a visiting Seahawks fan, but after reading a lot of this report and all the text messages in it, Brady deserves to be suspended for a good number of games. Sorry, most of you won't like it, but too bad. Compare what the league was threatening to do to Lynch in a critical playoff game FOR THE COLOR OF HIS CLEATS to what everyone now FACTUALLY knows about Brady from this report and there is literally no defense in favor of not suspending Brady.

Fact, not opinion.

Yikes.

I swear to God that every couple of days, I am increasingly appalled with the amount of stupid and pathetic people on this Earth.

It's mind boggling to me.

Most of it's been pretty level headed discussion. There's a fair amount of repetition because of people coming in and out, but that's to be expected. As people read more of the report, the issues became a bit more clear for many.

As for what a lawyer could do, he could shred the report. If you strip it down, it reads more like a losing civil complaint than anything else. The problem is the "court" for which it is intended.

Level headed here or in the media?

I feel like the report contradicts itself. More specifically the appendage from that Cali based snack venom company.

The Eugenicists are having a field day.

The good thing from this is BB and Kraft have been left out and it seems like they are after brady.

This then lets the NFLPA get into it and you can defend him more like a court setting. You are absolutley right. the amount of hearsay and insinuation in this report is huge.

There is no direct link to Brady at all other than (paraphrase). Brady was pissed that the balls were over inflated for the Jets game. You have to make sure the balls are not over inflated. brady doesn't like them over inflated.

Level headed here. I've been posting in this thread for almost 12 hours now, and it's not been that bad. We've had a few trolls get in, and we've had a couple of established posters acting liking asshats, but it's been mostly good discussion.

As for the media, look to Jeff Howe. His Twitter account has been a good read

https://twitter.com/jeffphowe

And his article tomorrow should also be interesting.

Lastly, with regards to the report, Wells paints a thin veneer of guilty claims over an investigation that produced almost nothing. If this wasn't the Patriots/Brady under the gun, most of the media would be busy savaging the report.

It's yet another great example of why the NFL shouldn't be in the business of investigating players for non-Football issues. This is a clear "integrity of the game" issue, which should be within the NFL's purview, and there are still two fatal flaws with regards to the NFL as the investigator/prosecutor:

Lack of subpoena power
Concentration of prosecutor/judge/jury/appellate court all in one, causing inherent conflict.

Yes. Given Kraft's response, I'd guess that most likely, we're looking at a Patriots team fine for not producing McNally more than 4 times when Wells wanted 5, suspensions or firings for the two 'needle' guys, and a very interesting future with regards to NFL v. NFLPA when it comes to the Brady punishment.

Brady and Belichick made Kraft a multibillionaire. Time Kraft stand behind those who have done right by him.
