Yes, this is WAR. Fck the leauge, fck the other teams, and Fck the other teams fans. If the league tries to suspend Brady because Wells says he Thinks Brady might have know, Sue. Take the league to court and make them Prove Brady knew the balls were under-inflated. Because how can someone be suspended because someone else thinks they Might have known something.

Exactly! So if Wells 'Thinks' Brady Might Have Known and has to save face with egg all of it, It's easy to label Brady as scapegoat and takin fall from Hizzoner & NFL. Suspension without smokin gun concrete evidence, Fix Is In! This will just Fire Up Brady even more like bein 199th Pick wasn't enough.

Funny, and a good point.

Although my first thoughts were: I wonder if Belichick is bothered that he made that video.
Tough s###...

  • Speaking of Brady lying in the investigation. I really have a hard time buying that he would lie about knowing McNally to cover up his involvement. I don't get why he would. McNally is a part time employee who seems to only work on game days. Maybe Brady knows him but doesn't know his name or knows him as a nickname. Even if Brady is lying about being involved, I don't why he would lie about knowing McNally. It would be easier for him to say he knew him and just never told him to ever do anything illegal.
A thousand times this. Why in the world would you lie about not knowing who McNally is or what he does? It would be such a stupid thing to do! Telling the truth there is a no-brainer. I have no idea why you would make things harder for yourself by lying. I'm sorry Ted Wells doesn't find it credible, but Brady probably didn't know McNally's name or his job description.

This report is vague enough that people seem to be reading alot into many vague facts and statements. People can get out of it whatever fits their agenda and personal view. This is what is so dangerous about these kinds of investigations.

You just described a perfect script for conspiracy theorists.

4 months, 243 pages and an opinion based (directed) conclusion. What an utter waste of money spent. If I had an employee deliver a report like that to me, it is more probable than not that they wouldn't be in my employ further.

fyp :)

I suppose now that the report is out and the Patriots reputation is diminished once again. The NFL might say Fck it and only fine the Patriots 300k for the deflated balls. Hoping that the team will accept it, and knowing that every fan in America already thinks Brady cheated.

Now according to the Wells report, that wouldn't be anti Patriot bias at all! Just regular front office politics.

Lol... It's already being re-written on ESPN...

The New England Patriots, or quarterback Tom Brady if you want to specifically point a finger at the player mostly involved, were busted Wednesday when the report by Ted Wells revealed that some of their personnel deliberately deflated balls during the AFC Championship game against the Indianapolis Colts.

Am I the only one who doesnt see Brady being suspended? And if they try, nflpa will appeal

Suspend your most famous player on suspicion and hearsay?

.... I think McNally looks kinda shady in this....... .

Gee, d'ya think so? The guy comes off almost as shady as the NFL CHARITIES OFFICIAL WHO WAS STEALING KICKING BALLS DURING THE SAME GAME TO SELL ON HIS PERSONAL WEBSITE.

....you know, Scott Miller, whom the NFL knew had done the same thing many times over the past 6 years and they STILL ALLOWED HIM TO DO IT.

McNally is shady and should be gone, but compared to the league sanctioned officials, he's a choirboy.

Haha CNN had Dan S. from Boston and Kravitz of course th ey said Brady is guilty and deserve a suspension

Waa waa Goodell is out to get us waa waa. Waa waa Goodell worked for the Jets waa waa. Waa waa Wells ran a corrupt inquiry waa waa. Good lord, suck it up. This isn't going to stop the Patriots from being the Patriots. This doesn't suddenly make Belichick a second rate coach, or Brady a second rate QB. So maybe Brady doesn't ride as white a horse as you thought, no big deal. No one does.

Id like to know why they didn't end up using Columbia. Hmm oh wait, maybe pesky science got in the way and Rog figured it was best to go with a company that is bias instead.

Columbia got it right. The question to ask is why didn't they use Columbia's data and went to the place that said smoking does not cause cancer. 72degrees = 295.372K 48 = 282.039K 4.514% drop. 12.5PSI +14.7 =27.2 27.2 less 4.514% = 25.9277 or 11.27PSI. Three balls recorded by bumbeling NFL folks as under this. 1 by .07, 1 by 2.7 and 1 by 3.7. This from officials who were up to .45 PSI off measuring the same ball at the same time.

Lol... It's already being re-written on ESPN...

If i'm Brady or the Pats I have my lawyers send them a nice letter saying they were never "busted" for anything it is all hearsay and there is no indisputable proof anything was done.

It is more probable than not that I will be pissed off at least this entire season. Just think what TFB will be like :)

Clearly whomever authored the burb never read the report to its fullest. Hell, I'm 87 pages thru and I work!

I bet the copy editor is a 28 year old putz who spends 7 hrs a day on Facebook and Instagram.

I think people are more angered that no one besides the Patriots fan base will ever truly appreciate the level of superiority and excellence the Pats have had in the past decade. It'll always be tarnished by others when other franchises like Steelers, Cowboys, 49ers etc will be always be glorified
