I apologize if this was mentioned, but I am unable to read all 43 pages of this thread.
What's the likelihood that McNally and the other attendant acted alone in an attempt to appease Tom and earn more autographed gear to sell?
The level of evidence is definitely stronger than I think most anticipated. Now I guess it's a wait and see to hear what penalties the NFL lays down against Tom and the Pats. Let's hope is just a fine but I have a feeling it's going to be more than that.
The most unfortunate part of this that it is about freaking footballs in a game that was a blowout. Now because a team couldn't bear the embarassment our team and QB are again tarnished by the public opinion over footballsYes, I'm quite aware of the fraud that is SoV. The issue is that yesterday, people were still treating his opinion as gospel. I just found it ironic that he's changed stances yet again, and now is predicting a suspension. Unfortunately, I have concerns that he may be right this time around. Let's hope not.
I'd like to pretend that Goodell could simply ignore the public outcry, but I don't see how that's possible in this situation. If the reports' findings are "good enough" to drag the team's name along with Brady's reputation through the mud, then their probably good enough to justify a suspension.
If Goodell simply hands down a fine, the pitchforks will be out all across the country.

I haven't gotten to Exponent's appendix yet to see the full report from the engineering company, but the text of the report says Exponent took that into account in their calculations. You can argue about how well/correctly did so, but they knew about this issue and knew they had to adjust for it.

brady lied, he deflated footballs, probably for years, and he's going to get suspended a few games. my guess is 4.
f* it, it happened. it's annoying that he didn't come right out and admit it when the story broke, but the guy has 4 rings, millions of dollars, and a supermodel wife. he will be fine, and so will all of us. deal with the burn and move on.
No the game was at the Jets on 10/16. This is the day after and the game balls were 16PSI. No wonder Tom was pissed
I'm actually disappointed with how little evidence there actually seems to be.

@jeffphowe From reading the "deflator" and "haven't gone to ESPN...Yet" quotes, isn't it completely obvious he is joking in those texts?
Ted Wells simply decided he didn't want to believe McNally and Jastremski with those explanations
"The report also details scientific evidence supporting a conclusion the balls were deliberately deflated".
From what i heard and read, no evidence against Belichick and Kraft but the text messages between McNally and Jastremski clearly implicate that they knew Brady and were acting on his behalf. Doesn't look good that Brady refused to cooperate with the investigation either.
The USA Today also reported that "The report also details scientific evidence supporting a conclusion the balls were deliberately deflated".
Keeping my fingers crossed!!!!!!!
