Tom Brady Sr. angrily fires back at critics of his son: "It’s disgusting"

That's great. But I'd rather hear Tom Brady say it, and then an impartial third party announce the same thing.

You missed the most important line:

"How can Tommy defend himself? It's impossible," Brady Sr. said. "This is so distorted. To have something come out like this and say it's more probable than not? What does that mean?

Ain't that the damn truth, how in the **** can one defend themselves when this is the finding. Absolutely ****ing insane. "More probably than not." Really?

Okay, I hope the NFL tries to suspend Brady the NFLPA will laugh them out of court/arbitration.

He's so right..

If Brady Sr were next to me right now, id kiss him right in his forehead..

I agree with it wholeheartily. Why isn't Kraft saying this?

Because he's a spineless person. Truly. He has to be. This will be twice he has laid down. Not very "Patriot" like to me. It's actually quite disgusting. If he had any power, he would not be capitulating.

I just hope and hope that something is being done behind the scenes. Doubtful but whatever.

No, no they won't. Trust me. The 31 other teams and 3 others in the AFCE will ensure Brady is suspended for as long as possible. This truly isn't a sports league. It's a waa waa I need help to win league. So, the NFLPA will capitulate because it will hurt the Patriots. Now, Manning will be discussed as the GOAT. Never cheated right? Don't let facts stand in the way.

Once again, the NFL, the owners, the other players can all do what they want to try to make Brady die a slow painful death...but regardless of that the NFLPA will defend Brady just like they defended the scumbags last year like Ray Rice and got him reinstated.

Trust me, Brady will not be suspended when week 1 rolls around. The NFL can try, there is NO chance the NFLPA allows that to stand based on "he probably did it more than not." That won't fly with any legitimate lawyer.

Your mistake is, and while I respect your statement, do you think that will matter? Brady isn't good for the NFLPA. Manning was/is sadly enough. Luck, Wilson, are the future. If and when they can prove the chances of those while hurting Brady they will. Trust me. Ray Rice wasn't an impediment to those listed. Ditto Peterson. Remember, Von Miller coerced his piss tester to change his sample. Coerced. He got a season, then dropped to 6. He cheated a drug test. That reduction was due to Manning.

i dont know how in hell you can say that after everything thats happened with the nfl and goodell. you are trying to apply logic and common sense to a organization that has none. it will fly and the pats will take it right up the -ss:eek:

Do you people not recall what happened with the Saints players and their suspensions?

Because Kraft will let them.

So clueless. The NFLPA serves all of it's members. Good and bad. Old and young. Innocent and Guilty. The NFLPA is the group who filed a greivence for Aaron Hernandez after he was arrested for murder.

Defending Tom Brady isn't "bad for the NFLPA" it is good for the NFLPA. The NFLPA will defend all of it's players and their rights regardless of the situation.

Not to mention, getting one of the greatest QBs to ever play the game off of a suspension is nothing but a good thing for the NFLPA. They will use it as ammo in the next CBA negotiations. They will use it as marketing fodder for their newest constituents.

And make no mistake, if Brady is suspended the NFLPA and their lawyers are going to laugh at the NFL and their flimsy case. There is zero chance he serves anything more than a measly fine.

The NFL and Goodell are the exact opposite of the NFLPA. The NFLPA hates the owners and Goodell as much as some of the Pats fans here do. The spin here is silly.

The NFL has no case for actual suspension...so if they actually try to suspend Tom Brady, it will be must watch stuff cause it will be so hilarious.

Why should anyone "trust" you any more than any other poster. His argument is a lot more sound about the NFLPA defending Brady based on questionable evidence. They defended Ray Rice, so they too will stand up for Brady. Anything that attempts to weaken the union's power will be addressed. I expect a fine.

I agree with this, they have no proof or evidence Brady did anything wrong. The Wells Report did not PROVE Brady did anything wrong nor did they provide EVIDENCE that he did anything wrong, EXCEPT, lie about knowing that one locker room worker.

Here are my thoughts:
  • No suspension will hold up against TB12 (NFLPA will intervene; fine will be given)
  • No punishment will be given to the team as a whole (unfair to punish team over one player's actions)
  • The real tragedy here is that Tom Brady's legacy will be tarnished over something so stupid

Which may or may not be true, more "unproven" results from the report.

The only thing to suggest that Brady might know McNally is the text where Jastremski says "he talked about you" but that might just be a case of TB12 talking about the guy who is there when the balls are tested, without actually knowing him or not.

It may be that he lied, but that certainly wasn't proven either.
