Tom Brady probably knew of 'inappropriate activities,' Deflategate report says

OK, everyone. Don't freak out.

This is just the half time score. NOT the final.

And we've got a Ringer about to enter the game. This ringer chew up & spit out Joe Montana, Jerry Rice, the Purple People Eaters, the Steel Curtain, the Legion of Boom, etc. as tho they were sour mints. And then she'd pick her teeth with Lawrence Taylor...

And her name is ... Mother Nature.
And she's pissed.
And she's a *****.
__

The only appropriate conclusion is that Wells & Goodell are so divorced from reality, so conditioned by their legal backgrounds, that they THINK that they can ignore / countermand / over-rule Mother Nature.

Boy, are they in for a rude awakening.

Again, don't freak out.

Immediately, it will be trivially easy for the Pats organization to do comprehensive, convincing experiments to PROVE that this finding is stupidly wrong.

During the course of the coming year, at every single cold-weather game played, the Pats hire an independent agent and a reporter, they prep up a couple of footballs exactly as they did during this game, and they measure them at half time, PROVING that this report is 100% wrong.

The pressure on the league will continue to rise, not fall.

There is zero doubt about this course of action.

The one and only outcome of this report is that the league & Mr. Wells have demonstrated, beyond doubt, that they are utterly incompetent.

I've got irrefutable evidence that this is not the case:

1. Over the course of this fiasco, I've sent several emails to the Pats organization, outlining the engineering aspects of the situation. They were perfectly amenable to the idea of me publishing my info & test results.

2. There is no possible way, in this country, for Mr. Kraft to stop me from publishing more. Even if he wanted to. Which I don't believe for a second.

3. Whereas the print & electronic media were averse to publishing any info that exonerated Brady & Belichick, now the situation has changed drastically. Now, release of info that proves that it was the weather will humiliate Goodell, Wells & the league, proving them to be incompetent, and even "motivated" to find against the Pats.

Newspapers will be falling all over each other for this nice juicy story.

Fire away. The Wells report math is simply wrong and on page 163 the measurements between the two officials are up to .45 different on the same ball at the same halftime. https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/deflate-calc/id987622012?ls=1&mt=8

Science schmience, the fuhrer and his gestapo have ruled. Punishments are forthcoming.

The furher doesn't believe in science, what a joke of a slanted piece of lawerly crap the report is.

Y'all still won't accept the fact that Brady and the Pats cheated will you?

Brady's playoff stats will now have an asterisk next to them. If the Patriots have spied on team practices and deflated the balls, Then who knows what else they've done ?!?!? He might have better stats then any QB in playoff history but Brady had help other than his talent/skills....So Patriot fans have that going for them :)

All of this doesn't make your team better but it gives you an advantage and the amount of fumbles the Pats had definately points to playing with under inflated balls. I don't think its a coincidence.

So once the final verdict comes in and Brady infact was a part of the scandal. Will you guys still deny that the Patriots cheated again ?????

By now it seems obvious the NFL will do whatever it can to be relevant year round. So it really took this long to come to an ambigous conclusion based on a few text messages? And they`re saying "probable" still not definitive? Yeah ok,...So now we can debate this for a good month cause training camp and preseason doesn`t start for awhile. ESPN has to be all giddy... can guarantee that.

I really have no time for this topic anymore, yeah came here to post this, but until I hear directly from Tom on the matter, won`t waste another minute on it. If this is all BS I hope Tom and Mr Kraft take a strong stand..Pretty sure the fans will stand behind them.

We won`t deny you`re a mental midget

Your small mind does know there are way more players on the Team that don`t ever catch or handle a Ball right? Yep, they`re cheaters. Let me guess ....you voted for Obama right?

Goodell has shown time and again that he doesn't need cold hard fact to act on what he thinks is a violation. I think although the evidence here is clearly circumstantial......... it's a VERY strong case that Brady is directly culpable as well as his 2 equipment guys.... as far as coach - I don't see his direct involvement but he still might catch hell because it falls under his responsibility.

If Tom Brady would have given the investigators his texts, maybe there would be concrete evidence

I can't wait to hear from 'Tommy' too

He really should stop lying. It's not helping at all. I think he could just mitigate everything if he'd just take responsibility right now like he should have initially. It could save his 'image'.

Probably not. But some will first resort to name calling and otherwise diversionary ploys to cloud the waters or to reduce the discussion to such a level that it's value isn't worth reading. That way the value(the truth) will be discarded. I'm not saying it makes sense. Because the truth is what will rise through the garbage. As time passes the truth is all anyone wants. And it will be be what they will all have to answer to.

I still think its the dumbest scandal ever. The League gives a range of where Teams can have PSI, it doesn`t say it has to be this number and this number only, and if it is/was so important, why not handle them the whole game? So does this mean every offensive player that Brady throws or hands off to likes it deflated too? I doubt it. It really is and always was about how Brady prefers them since he handles the Ball on almost every offensive snap. So go ahead and piss off one of the biggest stars of the game..I have a feeling this is going to get real ugly.

And the NFL will change the whole process and the Pats will still be the Pats and win with regularity and the haters will be even more pissed off...Thats the life of a hater..sucks to be them.

Well, see you assume he is lying..ESPN might be willing to hire you.

Your own post exclaims 'guilty'

We're both basing our opinions on circumstantial evidence. Not unlike Aaron Hernandez trial. All circumstantial ........ how's that work out

Just don't let the bulk of data confuse you. Simplify the evidence and just see it for what it is. I understand your fanhood. I'm a big fan of different team. I understand defending your team. And to a degree I respect the soldiering.

Based on circumstantial evidence though, it's pretty clear that none of this happens unless Brady demands it.

^^^^^^^^
I agree

@Fansince77 Really ???? An under inflated ball is easier to handle and grip, Hence less fumbles. If the Ball has more air and feels like a brick (Like Brady was complaining about during the October game Vs the Jets. Yup, the same game that Brady was complaining about the balls to the employee that he aledgely doesn't know..LOL, Which is also documented in the Wells report) Then any Patriots player handling the ball would be like any other NFL player and be more susceptible to fumbling the said ball.

If you look at the stats of the Patriots fumbles.....They over achieved any team that had the Record for least fumbles in a season by wayyyyy more carries/attempts/touches/receptions etc. Coincidence ??? Somehow after 2007 they somehow did a complete 180 and every Patriots player that touched the ball would never fumble. Did they somehow find a secrete method to hold the ball?

Even the dudes who had a history of fumbling, All of a sudden they became a better ball handler's than Siegfried and Roy

Settle down, folks.

THE PROOF that the Wells Report is 100% WRONG is contained within the numbers in the report itself.

There is no doubt about this.
Fortunately, they also provide enough information (BARELY*) to prove what really happened to the Colts' balls.

* REALLY?? During the entire half-time, they only had time enough to measure the pressure on 15 balls?? It takes (GENEROUSLY) about 5 seconds per measurement (x2 gauges), plus 10 seconds to write down both readings & 5 seconds to pick up the next ball. Round up to 1/2 minute per ball. That'd require a total of 7.5 minutes for 15 balls. And 11.5 minutes for 23 balls (11 Pats & 12 Colts.)

Pretty lame technique. But pretty lame technique is exactly what one gets ... when it's the very first time that they've ever done this.

THIS is the key.
The numbers reported with the Colts' balls tells the story.

It'll take a day or so to write it up.
Only because I much prefer lazing around around the pool. Plus I gotta read the "Scientific Evidence & Analysis" section. If it's as inept as the "Expert Consultation" section, it should be pretty funny.
