The Published Wells Report.

This was always such a stupid issue from the get go. Ball inflation rules, all of it. I hope everyone on the Colts gets loaded on a rocket ship and shot into the sun. Followed by the Jets. And then the NFL front office.

I genuinely hope the Patriots defense goes head hunting when they play the Colts.

Who gives a rats ass about 10 15 yard penalties? Just bring em a world of pain.

Well, I think the Colts just moved onto BB's perma-sh*t list, kinda like Brad Childress.

According to Wells report:
"
the Ideal Gas
Law predicts that the Patriots balls should have measured between
11.52
and
11.32
psi at the
end
of the first half, just before they were brought back into the Officials Locker Room."

If you take Prioleau's numbers alone, only 3/10 are below their own stated expectation in drop. Their scientific investigation seemed only to concentrate on temperature and very little (if at all) on effects of cold rain on PSI.

Why only use the higher number? That's the justification why Colts balls were in spec, that their footballs were at least 12.5 on one of the gauges.

11.27 PSI is the figure for 72 degrees and 48 that the Wells report uses. This does not factor in a cold rain.

Bingo.

The one thing that SHOULD be clear to anyone reading that (but I'm sure it won't to those who already have their minds made up against the Patriots) is that McNally was NOT working in conjunction with Brady - - in fact., it is clear that they had a very adversarial relationship.

The Jastremski texts that they were getting 'autograph days' in relation to deflation talk would indicate other wise.

this part does make mcnally seem suspicious:

and then

and then

first, he removes the balls without authorization, then he lies about stopping in the bathroom on the way to the field.

Yet we heard from Jim Daopoulos, a former ref, that refs often ask attendants to do this for them.

"Its about honor.. it's about respect....." looking forward to Tom's response

Patriots: Here is our explanation. Wells: OK, I don't believe you.

I do have to say I called this one all wrong. I figured there would have been more look at the League and would not say anyone on the Pats did it without evidence. It was clear that Wells' marching order was to prove the Pats did it and ignore the rest.
Was there ANY look at the league?

Trying to remember -- who keeps the bags of balls and gives them to/receives them from the officials during the game? Does each team have their own person or does the home team provide both people?

Home team has both.

Kraft just released a statement that essentially boils down to "you guys screwed us over, and there's nothing we can do about it, so all we can do is take the punishments."

More Texts - Pre Chicago Bears. "Needle" reference will be heavily referred to as evidence seen by Wells that this was habitual:

The only thing deflating sun..is his passing rating

I wonder if Tom will put out a statement.

What seems evident is that Brady, at best, was less than forthcomng or, at worst, dishonest with investigators. Lying might be what gets him suspended.

Beginning of what? Discipline for TB12?

You can't discipline a player that "probably" did something.

Even a Cro-Magnon like Goodell wouldn't do that.
You can discipline him for (in their view) lying to investigators.

In an interview about a year ago, Richard Sherman expressed the desire to play Michael Crabtree every year and "choke him out".

Well I believe I speak for many a Pats fan when I say that the Colts have now solidified their position as our "Crabtree". **** em, and I hope we continue to curbstomp them for years to come....

I thought the whole point of an independent report is suppose to be to reach a conclusion based on the evidence, not draft an argument on behalf of the league for the court of public opinion.

Presumed innocent is also not a tenet of the court of public opinion.

Why are you even listening to Felger right now?

Dunno. I'm in AZ and have it on Comcast. Sigh..I'm sure it's everywhere....

Funny how they say the balls were @ 16 in the text messages?? Thought 13.5 was the highest?? Am I missing something?

Would Tom Brady REALLY lie to Robert Kraft? That's one of many things Wells is accusing him of.

Hit job. Total and utter hit job.
