Sounds like we'll be getting the report in the next 24 hours. Reiss + PFT have alluded strongly to this.

Looking for Reiss comments, don't see him alluding to imminent release - can you post what he said about it?

Actually it literally has to.

no it doesn't. they can put whatever they want in it.

the report may have allussions to the weather as a cause, but beyond that I don't expect much science.

See the thread I just created. ("Reiss's take on what Wells report needs to have in it"). No allusions to imminent release. But why publish the column today? It could have been published any time in the past month or so. Wonder if Reiss had it written a while ago and was holding it until he felt release was imminent.

I saw this. Doesn't indicate today or tomorrow any more than just "soon."

@MikeReiss Do you think the deflategate report will come out today?

Mike ReissVerified account‏@MikeReiss
@Bobeaster I think we're close, Andrew.

I think the report will be a convoluted waste of 100 pages and won't be conclusive or clear in any way. I also feel the Pats won't go unscathed. I like that SOV is so sure about what their posting, but I'm very worried.

WEEI played a nice little montage this afternoon of some clips during the media hysteria of 'Deflategate' (I'm really starting to hate that stupid term)

I had almost forgotten how much some of these clowns were crucifying the Patriots. Most of them just went with assumption that the Patriots cheated, cameragate was revisited again and again, and the majority of these idiots were more interested in doling out punishment than actually discussing the possibility that the Patriots might be innocent.

Some unidentified female host on FOX even pointed out that if Brady is cheating in a football game, he would also probably cheat on his wife
That was the most incredibly thing, when it started being a major topic on Fox and CNN during the evening talk hours.

Tim "He Gives Me The" Benz. Banished for life to Pittsburgh for simply being a world-class troll.
Nah. Apparently having his face flattened by a shovel when he was a child is punishment enough.

Because it automatically makesmakes makes makes

Because doing so makes you a brave and independent patrician proving that you are a higher form of life than the the plebeian fanboys, honks, homers and pom-pom waving rump swabs who have the audacity to root for the local teams. The fact that those four pro teams have won 9 world championships in 14 years is an inconsequential detail to be summarily dismissed. That type of smarmy attitude is exemplified by Shank Shaughnessy's continual, repeated assertions that the Patriots didn't win the SB on their own (Seattle gave it to them) and that the Red Sox winning the World Series in 2013 was a "fluke" (yeah, a 162 game regular season, going 11-5 in the postseason against Tampa Bay, Detroit and St. Louis was a "fluke.). They're all jerk-offs. But, as much as the contrarians hate the local teams, their greatest hatred and disdain is reserved for the fans those teams.
As best I can tell, the NE sports fan community is packed to the gills with people who despise the local teams. I don't claim to understand it, but there it is. Especially the people who listen to 98.5

As far as Shaughnessy goes, he indulged in a protracted rant the other day about how 'fans' (said with dripping contempt) wanted nothing but homers in the media, unlike back in the day when no one had an agenda. Because he's never met...oh, himself, Kevin Mannix, Will McDonough, Ron Borges or any of the crowd that tried their hardest to drive Ted Freaking Williams out of town.

There should be a whole group of reporters fired or suspended if and when it absolves the Patriots.

Felger

"He's got 'em on the list — he's got 'em on the list;
And they'll none of 'em be missed — they'll none of 'em be missed."

That was the most incredibly thing, when it started being a major topic on Fox and CNN during the evening talk hours.

My favorite piece was the CNN anchor who held a football in each hand and said the 2 lb weight difference was obvious and tilted towards the "heavier" ball.

It's 2 lbs of air pressure Numbskull.......

The weight of a dollar bill.

I have to admit that I do miss Pardon the Interruption (Kornholer and Wilblow) but they trashed my Patriots and they deserve to die.

That's right up their with their reporter who, during the Shelter in Place after the Marathon bombing, said as they showed the empty streets: "…It's like a bomb went off… ." Um ...

You were actually beaten by someone about a month ago in another thread.

Ian O'Connor from ESPN NY was saying the same thing. If you actually believe a football weighs 12-13 pounds, then you either vastly overestimate your own strength of you've never picked up a ball in your life.

I knew I couldn't trust this guy, he's ANOTHER nobody just trying to get followers.

I'm sorry, but I am laughing hysterically at why anyone would trust a radio talk show call screener as some sort of good source.

The only thing he is a good source for is where to get coffee and donuts.
