I don't want to start a separate thread for this but what a stupid arrogant comment that is being attributed to Mark Sanchez.

NFLN was interviewing Chip Kelly and they mentioned that Mark Sanchez said that Tim Tebow is there to throw passes in camp while Sam Bradford recovers.

I thought I saw Kelly tighten up a bit when he heard that, and I don't remember what his answer was. Charley Casserley commented that Sanchez is there to play and not coach.

Where does Mark Sanchez get the idea that he is so established that he can make statements like that?

I hope the Eagles cut his arrogant, entitled, butt-fumbling ass.
He is a steakhead. Always has been. Always will be.

Darryl Roberts! We are saved! Who needs Revis?

Missed on McBride by two picks

He's as established as it gets, draped over Rex Ryan's wife and rendered in ink on his quickly dissipating body. On the other hand Rex has to be due for some skin removal surgery...

Whiffed on Ifo Ekpre-Olomu. Again and again and again. But we have a future LS. Unbelievable.

You want to get a guy in the middle of a double murder investigation who will turn around and declare for the draft next year [if he's a free man]. Why?

Again, he cannot declare for any other draft. His decision not to speak with police before tomorrow/Monday has cost him millions.

It took him from a top 15-25 pick to hoping to be snatched up as an UDFA. There are no other options for him.

I hope waiting an extra several days to speak with the police was worth it all. As I mentioned before, either he isn't 100 percent innocent, or someone gave him the absolute worst advice possible.

He did not quite say it as being reported. I actually heard his comments and if you think Sanchez is very intelligent, then you can come to the conclusion that that is what he meant. I on the other hand think he is someone who does not think very deeply and just used the ambivalent words which can be construed as how NFLN did.

Well, Collins didn't get drafted, and PFT is reporting that he plans to sign after he's cleared. If he is cleared, I hope he's able to recoup most of his financial loss.

Isn't there a limit to what he can sign for as a UDFA? He'd need to play out most of his contract as a starter somewhere to make it back, no?

My take aways.

- Belichick is looking to prove there is more than 1 way to skin a cat. Secondary may be weak but we will put the best front 7 in the NFL on the field if these players stay healthy.
- They still think highly of Dobson and what he can do going forward.
- They must feel confident that Gaffney and White can do some things.
- McCourty could be moving back to CB. I think he can be a top 10 CB personally so I am fine with it, especially if he learned a lot from Revis, which I believe he did.
- Tavon Wilson, Chris White, Chris Jones, Michael Buchanan, Jordan Devey, Ryan Wendell, Jake Bequette, etc. were put on notice.
- I only expect 3 DL over 300lbs to make the team this year. A lot more hybrid NASCAR fronts.
- This could be Ninkovich's last season.

They just upped Ninko's salary when they didn't have to. He's not going anywhere.

Unless he just wanted to forgoe the draft for the purpose of trying to catch on with the Patriots.

If I'm a UDFA, who was supposed to be a top 20 pick, and the defending SB champs call me while their LT is entering his final season, I'm definitely interested.

Hmm....well if he gets cleared then there's no reason Pats shouldn't throw that hat in there.

I read he could hold out for a year then reapply next year if drafted. Not that i care. More concerned about the dead young woman and dead child.

I hope Collins and his agent are smart enough to pick the Pats

Although I wouldn't be surprised if he chose Miami/Jacksonvile/Tampa for the lower tax so he can maximize every dollar he missed out on

I've heard from people that have worked on those types of taxes that it's not nearly as big of a factor as it's made out to be.

I think a lot of these guys they drafted (several really athletic, speedy guys) make the team by earning a spot on special teams and replace roster spots taken last year by: N Ebner, T Wilson, C White, J Bequette (at least 3 of those).

If Collins could have quickly and easily proven his innocence, for example with an iron-clad alibi, I'm sure he would have done so quickly and before the NFL draft.

What's the skinny on Darryl Roberts? Sorry. Haven't read thru the posts.

Collins wouldn't have been cleared by the police just by talking to them. Wong really be cleared until the culprit is found and it's not him.

Alibi doesn't mean anything. He could have had someone else do it.
