Tony Pauline mentioned two small schoolers that the Pats had shown interest in:

Beau Gardner/TE/Northern Arizona: Gardner is an interesting story. Graduating high school in 2008, he left for a Mormon mission then arrived at NAU via junior college. He’s very rough around the edges but a terrific athlete with the speed to split the seam. Gardner fits perfectly as a move tight end at the next level and has drawn strong interest from the Arizona Cardinals, San Diego Chargers and New England Patriots.

Davon Walls/DL/Lincoln: One can’t help but be awed after watching Walls game film. He’s big, explosive and dominant. Granted it’s on a small school level but Walls overwhelms opponents out of a three point stance as well as the times he stands his 6-foot/5-inch, 295-pound frame over tackle. I expect him to get consideration at tackle in a four man line or as a two gap end. And with that said the New England Patriots have been very focused on Walls the past month.

Nick Marshall would be good.

Yes, sometimes it is.

My language was far more polite than I wanted it to be, and I said nothing against you. If you can't handle what I wrote, you should put me on ignore.

It would actually take less effort on your part to be more polite in how you respond to your fellow patsfans.com posters.

Not as therapeutic for you maybe, but less effort and a lot less typing.

I say to Collins:
"come sign here. When things get cleared up, we can do a restructure of your contract. Make it a five year deal with a bigger signing bonus that makes it equivelent to the #32 pick in round 1."

After two years, they can do that.

Ifo to the Browns..

In retrospect yes...if undrafted he will almost undoubtedly get the rookie minimum on a 3 yr contract. He would b able to effectively pick the team he would play for though
Assuming he's cleared, wouldn't there be multiple teams competing for him, giving him the potential for a significant payday? After all, his worth would still be first round grade.

Yeah odd situations on Collins. Can't really throw our hat in there with the whole Hernandez situation sadly.

Teams have really no choice but to let Collins go undrafted and i'm sure his agent will go on about collusion. But he's threatened to sit out if he wasn't picked 2nd or 3rd round and if he goes undrafted he really has no choice but to listen to teams offers because he won't be eligible to for the 2016 draft.

Unless some team thinks they can convince him to say he will be going undrafted.

Also the team that drafts him this year will not be able to draft him (if he declines a contract this year) when he re-enters the Draft in 2016. Very tough situation for a guy if innocent. By pushing teams to choose him on Day 2 or not at all, his agent may well have done him a disservice (if innocent).

Ekpre-Olomu gone to Cleveland...

How good is Collins on the field? Solid LT/potentially elite guard?

And the Raiders took Dexter McDonald.

I remember a couple guys were high on him earlier on in the draft, wanted him for a 6th rounder.

5 picks out. Who is your guess? I will go Tyrell Williams, WR

Dexter McDonald to the Raiders

The worries about Ifo Ekpre-Olomu's knee make me ok with not having drafted him. Would like a RB/WR with the remaining picks though...
