was Trey Flowers drafted to replace Jake Bequette?

Sokoli to the Seahawks.. Sorry Manx

RE: Derby and blocking.. Let's give him time with DeGugliemo and DaBoll and the conditioning unit before we go writing him off as not being able to block.. It wasn't really asked of him at Arkansas..

He blocked a lot and not badly in his youtube clips.

Our OLine is huge.

Our main RB's (Blount, Gray & Gaffney) are big bruisers.

A lot of defenses are going to get worn down next year.

With all the fans reading out picks for their teams, a funny thought popped into my head.

Imagine one of our awesome draft forum posters winning a lottery to draft for the Pats

Mayo/manx/wilfork75/midwest steps up to the podium, takes a look at the card with some crazy pick, and thinks 'f*** this'

"With the 247th pick in the 2015 NFL draft, the New England Patriots select Tre McBride, WR, William & Mary"

LOL, please, please, please do this for real! It would make my day! Whoever does will become a legend!:D

Yeah.. all the things that McBride supposedly doesn't have.. That is what is weird..

I'm hoping someone in that war room decides to take what really shouldn't be a flyer on a decently sized WR with 4.4 speed and good hands... He's a little stiff, but we've got the best slot receiver in the league to show him what's what. He can definitely learn from Jules.

What are you talking about? Long snappers who cannot play for 3 years are valuable commodities.
I wonder whether taking him in the 5th (rather than the 7th) might be part of the Patriots' submission to the Navy to ask them to let him play straight away rather than waiting 2 years

Interesting that Derby was also a special teamer at Arkansas.. May make the team out of camp afterall..

Hah don't think I've heard that one. I actually saw UNH come to town here back in November, they still run a Chip Kelly style offense. Went for it on 4th down almost every time and went for two every time too I believe.

Yep. They do.I didn't play but I was there when Dwayne Sabb was there. He played for the Pats in the early mid 90s.

@TesslerSports: The Seattle Seahawks will be transitioning Kristjan Sokoli (DL, U of Buffalo) who they just drafted in the 6th round to the offensive line.

The Seahawks picked Sokoli as a guard apparently. Interesting.

For those that don't know, Sokoli has the identical size and athleticism to JJ Watt (slower 3-cone only although still very good). Played NT at Buffalo but flashed real explosion at times. Strange that the Seahawks seem to be switching him to offence.

Neale Sterling, one of my late round binkies, gone to Jags. BOOOOOO!!
