Apparently Wells had an excellent pro day.

Man, not one CB drafted.

I will say it again: The coaching staff must be extremely high on Butler, Ryan, et all

If a CB wasn't taken early there is no need to add depth guys, we have plenty.

A mediocre coverage unit is masked by a strong front 7 which we've made plenty of effort to improve drastically.

Ben Volin tweet, required to serve FIVE YEARS

@BenVolin: Cardona is required to serve 5 years in Navy and is set to be commissioned this month. We'll see if he can get a waiver to play football now

It's 5 years in total.. However, it can be delayed with special dispensation.

I'll take Gosselin over Volin any day when it comes to having the right info..

There's some speculation he could move to safety.

Experts looking for/expecting the Patriots to draft corners early and often were a bit off.

Looks like Malcolm Butler, Logan Ryan and Alfonzo Dennard will be competing for the two outside starting positions, with Kyle Arrington as the slot corner.

After that it is Bradley Fletcher, Robert McClain, Justin Green, Dax Swanson and Chimdi Chekwa at cornerback. Hopefully everyone can continue to improve, and stay healthy.

It wouldn't surprise me at all if the Pats double down at corner in the 2016 draft, similar to the focus on the offensive line this year.

Shallow CB group this year. They don't need a Ryan/Butler/Dennard/Fletcher replacement. They need a Ryan/Butler/Dennard/Fletcher upgrade.

Is this guy a SS project?

Funniest pick in the BB era (error ?) lol. He didn't like anybody at 147 (there was still some decent guys there), so he trades down to draft a long snapper who can't play for 2 years. Question, has ANYONE, EVER drafted a long snapper ? I can't remember it EVER being done. Next pick will be a place kick holder.

We did before. There were lots, look it up.

Linebacker who ran an unofficial 4.33. Official is 4.44
Maybe he can play corner ? But seriously that's freakishly fast for a LB, even for a safety.

He's "required" to serve 5 (everyone who goes to the Naval Academy is) but can apply to leave after 2 if he's on the Patriots roster.

Draft scout has him OLB/SS

Pro day ran a 4.43
