Other than a long snapper, a udfa has little chance to make the team. The Pats pass over the top
100 or so top udfas to avoid the mass rush.

Are you speaking of this particular season, or in general? Pretty sure we see some UDFAs every year.

I'm going to go OL, Miguel, just due to having Scarnecchia part of the scouting process. One could argue that aspect may increase their odds of being that 8th, 9th, or 10th OL as an UDFA.

Not listed-special teams.

If you can ( a la slater) bb will find space for you and only the fans and mediots who try to fill in their depth charts will care what position he is listed against.

Offensive line, especially on the interior. Connolly, Wendell, Devey and Kline all went undrafted.

Actually I'd say just the opposite - even with what is often a well stocked Patriots roster each off season

If there's one thing Belichick has shown it's that he doesn't care where or even IF someone was drafted

Everyone makes the roster and gets playing time based on how hard they work and how well they play, and there's no shortage of Patriots success stories from the UDFA ranks

All the "Belichick is an awful GM" jabs will sometimes point to the higher picks he cuts - but they fail to note that the players taking their place are often those low draft picks or UDFAs who often start off as special teams or other role players and then grow into quality starters

(My choice on the poll would be Special Teams if it were offered, even though it's a bit of a cop out)

Other coaches and GMs let their ego (and concerns about cutting "busts" they drafted) dictate some of their roster decisions, whereas all Belichick cares about is retaining the best players

There's still plenty of talent to be found among the UDFAs and at that point, it's often a better match for the team because not only does Belichick want the player, but the player gets to choose as well, and chooses a team where he thinks there's a fit, need and match

I think they are going to bring in a QB or two and at the very least I think one of them will make the practice squad

Changed the DE option to ST.

Will La’el Collins sign with a team?

CB. Not a huge fan of our current cornerbacks. And we got no CBs in the draft. Maybe we can find someone who wants to prove himself.

The LS drafted may not be available if his military service must be done. The other competition is very beatable.

CB and CB but to be serious, QB.

Longsnapper for sure.
