Interesting draft so far. Usually we have to beg BB to get a pass rusher. Flowers is not bad. I was watching clips of him last week. He didn't get the sacks but their Dline in general put a lot of pressure on the opposing qb.

Petty? I thought Rex Ryan was fired?

Jeremy Langford to the Bears. He was my top RB available with the injury concerns around Ajayi

Let's be honest. Most people have underestimated the Pats pass rush despite the sacks they put up.. They overlook things like QB hits and QB pressures. Not to mention PDs..
..and those numbers are also underwhelming.

James Sample has a good chance to take a starters job if all he has to do is play behind Sergio Brown.

People hoping for a guard in this round is probably going to be disappointed. I don't know if he will draft one until the sixth round. Belichick looks at guards as a dime a dozen unless you can get an elite one.

Just announce the damn pick. No need to interview the fan before he makes the pick *facepalm*

Did i say that? Do you not think i meant what if one or two of those guys go down? It's the NFL you know, guys going on season ending IR are a daily occurrence. I'm just saying why stock up on the d-line when we need receivers and corners and also some o-line.

You don't understand. They NEED 45 defensive linemen. A 3rd/4th WR is just a luxury item.

Pressure is good too. Our D-line didn't intimidate last year, IMO. How many times did we all cry out "WHERE IS THE PASS RUSH!!"
"SOMEBODY PLEASE PUT SOME PRESSURE ON THE QB"

"Yeah, but can he cover Brandon Marshall" is the new "Yeah, but can he rush the passer".

I agree, however if we aren't going to have a true #1 CB we need to generate a ton of QB pressure.

3 more picks until the Pats are on the clock, lots of good guys still there

#111 has to be a CB?

....right?

...please?

Meh.. it is going to be a project anyway. Whoever we pick is a depth guy we hope can help us next year. After the top 6 or 7 guys went I did not expect much help for new CBs this year... maybe we will get it but I don't expect it.

Also a true LB is still a possibility if they want to draft more D.

what happens to zach moore/bucannon??

cut?

I wouldn't mind that. If these guys are good then keep em. Moore and Buchanan are JAGs till proven otherwise.

If Dobson recovers from his injury last year and continues on his path from his rookie season, they have a third WR and you can get a fourth WR anywhere.

EDIT: Forgot Amendola. Dobson could be the 3rd or 4th. WR isn't a big need.
