#111 has to be a CB?

....right?

...please?

what happens to zach moore/bucannon??

cut?

NFL playbook? Wait wasn't Petty picked by the Jets?

Yeah all we have is garbage like edelman, lafell, gronk and dola.
Did i say that? Do you not think i meant what if one or two of those guys go down? It's the NFL you know, guys going on season ending IR are a daily occurrence. I'm just saying why stock up on the d-line when we need receivers and corners and also some o-line.

Overall we have 2 more picks in the 4th to address other needs. I don't mind this luxury pick. Good value I think. We know we need to spell Nink and Jones and plan to be able to do it and then some.

crowder gone..damn, i liked him

they must believe in dobson or maybe wes welker will make his return branch style..:D

The running joke on this board for years has been "But can he rush the passer?". BB is just cashing in. I love it haha

"Yeah, but can he cover Brandon Marshall" is the new "Yeah, but can he rush the passer".

Trey Flowers with an 84.5" wingspan.. That's some LONG arms on a guy who is just 6'2.

Or he has really broad shoulders! I wonder what his reach is? 35"?

Let's be honest. The Pats ability to generate consistent qb pressure is average. Every move from Thursday has been purposed to generate more.

I like the pick.

Let's be honest. Most people have underestimated the Pats pass rush despite the sacks they put up.. They overlook things like QB hits and QB pressures. Not to mention PDs..

Brown and Easley are mainly interior guys(even if both can play all over the lin). We now beef up with good depth on the outside too so Nink and Jones don't have to play 99% of the snaps.
Fair point but they seemed to do OK last season plus your star bookends have to be in most of the time anyway.

Flowers had the second highest pass-rush productivity among draft-eligible edge rushers last season, according to Pro Football Focus. He had 61 total pressures in 329 pass rush snaps. He also had the second highest third-down pass-rush productivity among draft-eligible edge rushers. He also ranked high in run-stop percentage, ranking fourth among draft-eligible edge rushers with 35 stops in 289 run-defense snaps.

Still need a man cover/jam the WR at the line guy...badly

Now, lets start the trend of drafting Tre! Can we draft Tre Jackson and Tre McBride next?

Jets pick announced by a Jets 30 year season ticket holder. What horrors he must have witnessed over the years.

But but but he gets to be in NY and all the great stuff that comes with it. Winning cultures etc. Just ask Revis. Cure all for the miserable seasons.
