They will draft a kicker. Almost guarantee it. Surprised they didn't reach for one already. Disgusting.

I threw up in my mouth when they picked richards.

Glad to see you're still in character, kennyb. I really admire your ability to stay in character.

At least Grissom didn't make me throw up in my mouth like richards did.

I want wrenching and heaving but I did vomit a bit.

Kennyb look at it this way. "Bill can do more with less" he's proven it. Plus it makes it alllll good.

So far solid draft. These draft experts that are brilliant on this forum bawling means all is right. I sometimes wonder how these geniuses, more likely idiots, don't have NFL scouting jobs.

He's trying his best to even the gap with the Jets. It's gonna suck watching Marshall, Decker, new draftee Devin Smith and others run circles around our mediocre secondary, and then watch the Jets defense sack Brady 4-5 times a game.

Well, those wr's would be pretty damn scary...if Peyton was throwing to them and they had an o line.
The patriots will ALWAYS be one step ahead of the division, as long as BB and TB are here.

Has BB got to me or would anyone else consider Hundley with one of the fourth rounders?

Time for bed. :)

And that defense is GREAT on paper, but how many paper champions have we seen through the years, and where did they end up?

I'm rooting for Richards, as he seems like a great guy. But I'm still pissed they would risk such a high draft pick on him. It's seriously indefensible. I'd bet my house on him being there at LEAST in the 4th round or later (6th-7th) So WHY draft him that high? WHY?

Sure

A middle finger by the greatest we'll ever know, because he knows he can do it to every other team in the league.

The Jet's ONLY issue on defense was their secondary. Now it's a strength. Add in the fact they've given Geno Smith some new weapons that are pretty damned good (Marshall and Smith). They already had Decker, Amaro and Kerley. They have some good RBs too in Ivory and Ridley.

Also, who knows, it might not be Smith at QB. Fitzpatrick had his best season under Chan Gailey in Buffalo, Gailey is the Jets OC now. All 3 teams have become much better in the AFC East, this will not be a cakewalk anymore. And BB didn't help himself by not strengthening the CB position (now a HUGE weakness) and the Oline (been a weakness for years). Love the Brown pick, the other 2 might be throw away picks. When your competition is hitting home runs in the draft, you can't strike out swinging on purpose.

I hear you, and you may very well be right that he would have been there later. But look at some of the players still available. Many people would have bet their house lots of these guys would be gone long ago, and some of them might last until the 5th. So the question for those guys also becomes why.

Offensive line? What are the Pats beefing up?

Different scheme. No corners, bring heat and the Pats are bringing heat this year.

I love the Marshall scenario Ross!

Who are our starting guards ? Are they good, dominating players that will keep Brady upright and consistently blow open holes for our running backs ? I doubt it.

Not sure that I'd consider the OL a "weakness for years." That's really stretching things from a team who generally wins 12-13 games just about every year. As a matter of fact, that terrible OL only gave up about 20 sacks for Tom Brady last year, which was one of the lowest numbers in the entire league for starting QBs.
