The Official 2015 NFL Draft Rounds 2-3 Thread

I'm still holding out for one of the good, exciting WTF picks to happen tonight. You know, not the slow safety kind. Like the "20 year old dude with a beard to his knees from Siberia who was the groundskeeper at South Dakota and walked on at left guard for two games last season and dominated everyone he faced. In high school he wrestled polar bears at the circus to feed his family and took over plow duties at age six when the family ox died in a blizzicane."

Saints pick QB. Cue Brees whining.

BB can think he is best value. Maybe he is. We won't know till years later. However if no one was going to pick ihim in the next 32 picks then it was not getting max value.

I don't claim to know more than Bill. I know i don't. I do know he has done this 2 other times and failed. I have reason to be skeptical.

How do you know no one would have picked him? Are you clairvoyant? I get it, it is probable that he wouldn't be picked but not a certainty. Too many people on this board speak in certainties when in fact what they are posting is merely opinion, conjecture or at best speculation.

And he has done this before in this and other rounds and succeeded. Bill isn't perfect, I'll be the first to admit that, but all the nervous nellies on this board seem to hold him to that standard as if they could do a better job. The draft is a crap shoot at best and the past 15 years prove that he knows more than any of us regardless if this pick is a success or a failure.

Wow Garrett Grayson to NO. Heir apparent to Brees.

I got to say this. I know many are angry but don't lump Harmon as a waste etc. After his game saving interception against the Ravens, he is a damn hero.

We want Greene. WE WANT GREENE!

So you liked the pick? You thought it was the best value we could get? I said I like having BB as my coach but this move did not maximize draft value and you know it.

I didn't scout him. If i did, i wouldn't assume i knew more than any GM, much less BB. Do you really think those guys in suits in a studio go out and scout past the middle of round 1? Somebody writes "round 6" and the others copy it.

Remember when Kiper criticized our special teams player we drafted as a corner in the 1st? How about that stiff, limited, blocking TE we took a chance on in the second?

Maybe coaches and GMs don't share their personal opinions outside of that fraternity and the pundits are basing their 6-7 opinion on one report two years ago, about a reportedly rapidly improving player?

Just because someone wrote it, doesn't make it true and current.

Now this is the draft board we are use to. That dumb ass BB, obviously you guys are much more qualified. :D

Does Richardson have speed?

I'm going to cry. I wanted Conley so badly.

Do you think the draft positions of Duron Harmon and Tavon Wilson are justifiable? Right now, I don't and in my opinion, the Richards selection appears to mirror both; a significant over investment.
Tavon Wilson has played up to his pre draft projection. BB isn't the only person who can project college players

Can't we just be happy BB used a 2nd round pick on the secondary?

It seems like a reach, but that man in my avatar knows better than most. And people can absolutely criticize the pick if they want. Just because he's Belichick doesn't mean he's infallible. I've watched film on him and while I like him, it's still not a pick that had to be made then. You're sipping on something strong if you don't think OL was the most pressing need and probably should have been addressed first. And no one is claiming to be smarting than Bill. It's sad that people can't dislike a pick without the homer brigade coming out.
