He seems to be going out of his way to kind of rub this whole thing in the Pats face.
In reviewing the hilights on youtube of the ravens playoff game, Revis looks pathetic on the Ravens first td he looks like Deion Sanders out there, didn't even attempt to try to keep the guy out of the endzone. Then he's covering Steve Smith while he scores a td, 14-0. Then the PI call at the end of the half that set up a td, 21-14. Makes me feel a little better about losing him.
He actually gives credit to Belichick for making him better. I'm not sure how it's rubbing anything in anybody's face when the guy who had already been considered the best Corner in the game says that he's now even better for having played for a Coach and a team.He seems to be going out of his way to kind of rub this whole thing in the Pats face.
Na, na, na, na..., da, da, da, da.........
"Belichick made him better than he was before... better... stronger... faster..."
And then he became the 6 million dollar man. Times 12.
Everyone has their bad games. For the most part, Revis earned his money here. But, then again, you're probably thinking about that as more of a coping mechanism. That said, I'm thankful he was here. I wish the Patriots could have found a way to keep him but he's gone now and, now that he's a Jet, I wish him the worst of luck.
I hope we tear him a new one this year.

Revis has always said that he had wanted to return to the Jets, but idiot Izdik failed to sign him last season because he wasn't professional enough to get past some hurt feelings. He's also always said that he feels "at home" with the team that drafted him, but he's also completely upfront about the fact that it's also about the money. They paid him. He went home. End of story.
I mean him no disrespect. He had a great year for us and He was exactly what we needed last year.
But at the end of the day he is not perfect and in a copycat league teams with receivers like smith have a blueprint to beating revis.
Sure, I'll grant that he's "spinning" (one man's "spin" is another's "BS"). He's trying to tip the balance of public perception away from the money theme more in the direction of the "going home" theme. As with all spin, there's a little bit of truth in it. I was mainly reacting to those who are dumping all over him.I call a little BS on his overt love for the Jets. How much did he love the Jets when he held out? I'm sure he knows everyone calls him a money grabbing mercenary, and when he went from a team like the Pats who just won the SB to the Jets for more money he had to overplay the I love the Jets talk. Would he have loved them so much if the $ wasn't right? I don't think so. It's kind of like a women who gives up a hard working, handsome man for a decrepit old man, who's rich, and she over compensates with all of the love talk to sell the fact that she's not there for the money. The only thing there would be for him to love is NYC, which is understandable, but besides that the Jets are completely different from when was drafted.
