Very good and well put together. It at least shows the financial side of things. Of course that's only half of the "scorecard".

Isn't it almost every season they try to have about 10mil in CAP space to start the season?

In 2013 Pats entered training camp with about 10 million in cap space. Ended season about $4 million. In 2014 Pats entered raining camp with about 6 million in cap space. Ended with 5.3 million.

Miguel, I enjoy your insight. What does your heart (and calculator) tell you about tomorrow night ? What are the Patriots going to do ?

My gut tells me a trade up from 32.

You think? Makes senses due to lack of what appears to be rosters spots. I'm on the Gurley bandwagon. Probably won't fall far but one can dream. RBs cannot be grown on trees like some beleive. I'd like Blount Colts-like games against any team a la Lynch. That's what a true Stud RB can do. Then they would be like Elways Broncos.

Any guesses for a player or the position?

DT Danny Shelton for me (if available at 16 - before Chargers, Browns, Chiefs)

Mike davis.

First round is for snot blowers and defense. O, and reaching on QBs every few years like Cleveland, SOJ, buffalo, Tennessee...

I would not be shocked by a trade up, Miguel. We'll see if you are right.

I'm going to guess a trade to a perennial loser's first in 2016. Then, perhaps moving up from 64 to grab someone they like mid 2nd.
