I'd love to see those first four picks play out like that. I believe we will trade up for a cb. If, there is one available at 25. I want to get ahead of Baltimore and deal with Carolina at 25. Cann and Davis have a chance for a lot of playing time right away. McBride can hopefully backup Amendola for a year and then replace him.

Here's a value board Shane Hallum has out. Good guide for doing a mock. He does have a lot of guys in each round. I like to look at the different opinions to see if the board binkies are possible. He has 34 1st rounders and 41 seconds. And, 37 in the third. I think we can trade 32 and 96 to get to 25. I just looked who he has in the 4th and picked them in the third, fifth in the 4th, etc. And, so on. Only exceptions when we had an early pick in a round. 4, 6 and 7.

1. B. Jones - CB - UConn
2. C. Davis - DT - Iowa Or, Maybe G. Jarrett if Davis not there.
3. M. Davis - RB
4. T. McBride - WR
4. J. Douglas - OL
6. B. Heeney - LB
7. S. Mason - C/G
7. C. Mager - CB

We've discussed Rowe and Hardison ad nauseous so on to the other guys.

1. Danielle Hunter - Sorry but he's another I just can't get on board with. I see the plusses in terms of length and athleticism but man, he's so slow at the snap. That is the only knock I have on him but at DE, I think it's a fairly serious one. If we were playing a 3-4, I'd be much more comfortable.

2. David Johnson - LOVE this pick. I don't think he's a RB but he could a cross between Shane Vereen and Charles Clay. He's an excellent receiver and blocker. I remember seeing one pundit say he's the best blocker at RB he's seen at the Senior Bowl for years. An underrated part of his game.

3. Jeff Heuerman - Absolutely fine with the pick. But what do you envisage for Tim Wright? Cut, presumably. I suppose you can stick Wright on the roster at WR and nothing would change. Absolutely fine with the pick.

4. Kenny Bell - Another pick I really like. I was thinking about him in relation to Devin Smith. I've actually been one of the bigger fans of Smith but as my BB suggests, I've moved Bell ahead of him. I think they have similar games but Bell has a better chance of being an all-round WR than Smith does.

5. Justin Coleman - Fine pick. Don't know how well he'll cut it as a CB although he has the size and athleticism to succeed but he's supposed to be a very good special teamer which at this point of the draft is what matters.

6. Cody Wichmann - Can't comment on this one.

7. Jarvis Harrison - The value is of course fine, but I really don't like the prospect. If you can't be bothered to get out of bed for your pro day.... That's probably a slight exaggeration but he was supposedly late for his. Can't see that being met with approval by the Pats, especially as his work ethic has come into question anyway.

Obviously I prefer Jones and Jarrett but this is a fine mock nevertheless. The Hardison and Johnson picks make it for me.

I am high on Hunter, so I will defend him. When I watched him, I think his assignment was run contain first. LSU went up against some pretty heavy zone read teams and it was his job to contain the edge. He has limited experience as a pass rusher because he wasn't asked to do it that often, but the physical and athletic traits are there.

GBN has their Big Board out 350. Here's a no trades mock with their rankings.

http://gbnreport.com/2015-nfl-draft-player-rankings/top-100-players/

1. Jake Fisher - OL - Oregon
- Day one starter at LG.

2. Tevin Coleman - RB - Indiana
- Fabulous junior year with not much around him. Ran 4.31 at his pro day.

3. Steven Nelson - CB - Oregon St
- Looked good at The Senior Bowl. Scrappy, little guy.

3. Justin Hardy - WR - ECU
- All he does is catch footballs.

4. Marcus Hardison - DL - Arizona St
- Maybe help interior pass rush on 3rd down right away.

4. Adrian Amos - DB - PSU
- Could be our slot db in a year to replace Arrington.

6. Blake Bell - TE - Oklahoma
- Raw. But, looks the part.

7. Robert Myers - OL - Tenn St
- Good candidate for practice squad.

7. Jake Ryan - LB - Michigan
- Doubt he lasts this long. Has a crack at making 53.

This is a draft I would be happy with

Wanted to get some thoughts on Shaq Riddick. The more I watch him the more impressed I am. He was used as a 5 technique, which is not the right position for him. He ran the 3 cone in 6.7, 10 yd split of 1.57. He has a great first step and burst when closing on the QB.

Athletically, he is off he charts freakish. I would not be surprised to see bb take him even though he is not a sack artist.

Just something I did quickly that I think would be great for our 4-2-5 package. A bunch of big CB/S prospects that could be very versatile.

#32 SS Landon Collins

# 64 Ali Merpet

# 96 Marcus Hardison

# 97 Micheal Bennett or Trey McBride

# 101 Josh Shaw or a RB

#177 Adrian Amos

#219 De’andre smelter WR

#253 Cassiah sendish S

Yes its a lot of safeties, but they all offer versatility

Safe to say I approve. My only negative thought is that a lot of people are talking about Josh Shaw being a safety too because he doesn't have the COD to be a corner. That's four safeties then and that's a little too much.

I don't try to do mock drafts but I do try to understand and anticipate the Genius Bill Belichick.

So I will make a few observations. Based on those, I develop a proposed duplicate Strategy that Bill Belechick will employ, as the opportunity to select players falls to him.

1.. This is a very average draft for CBs and Safeties, It has very deep group of Offensive linemen and Defensive linemen and particularly Defensive Ends and OLBs. For a change, there are a couple of very good and complete RBs; and a fair number of talented WRs.

2. The Pats have needs on big DTs, RBs, and interior Offensive linemen.

3. Bill has a dictum that you Draft candidates for LOT, and long term move the unsuccessful ones inside.

4. BB also believes that you can obtain a great reserve on the Offensive line; and yet don't have to waste him sitting on the bench. Youcan get double duty out of him, letting him play and gain experience on the interior line, and plan to substitute him for an injured Tackle or FA departure.

5. The AFCE teams representing half your schedule, have all now created formidable Defensive lines. You must beat or at least prevent those D-Lines from throttling your Offense.

6. BB expects his Defensive line to get lighter and more disruptive with the acquisition of Jabaal Sheard and the return of Dominque Easly. But he still has a pair of Big in Sealver and Branch, so the need to repalce Vince is not immediate.

7. BB believes that his secondary is weaker, losing both Revis and Browner. But he choose to do so because, unlike a few years ago, the balance of the remaining secondary is good, but not great. In conjunction with an improved Pass Rush it should suffice.

8.. He expects to stop the run with his very goodand now experienced LB corp in Mayo Hightower and Collins., (and Ninko).

9. He has a very good set of Blocking TEs, in Gronk, Chandler and Hoomanawanui. He also has a good FB in Devlin and a superior blocking X receiver in LaFell and Wright to help the proposed running game go.

10. . So the Strategy I envision BB employing, is to emphasize building a solid Offensive line, similar to what Dallas showed last year. I think he plans on acquiring a very good, complete RB to headline his new Offensive playing Strategy, which is a newly emphasized running game. Unlike fools who want to ground and pound, BB knows a very good Pass Offense is necessary, together with a superior running game. Tthat Offense will consume the clock, and produce a high scoring Offense.

Having developed a Strategy, that fits the talent likely available, I think BB will draft either a superior candidate LOT who appears stout enough to play LG, or one of the two great RBs available in Gurley or Mel ??? in the First Round. He will take the opposite numbered position with his second pick.

If both RBs are gone he will draft two lesser ones for his RBBC, a Vereen-like 3rd down back and a Ridley-like RB to augment Blount later on. He may use a late pick on another G to groom too.

Ideally his O line would consist of Chandler, Solder, Irving, Stork, Fleming Volker, Gronk.

His WRs outside of the TEs and the good blocking X receivers are fairly good blockers in Edelman and Amendola too.

Does this Strategy inform you fo the types and Players that BB will likely draft that are available at his picks. ?

I could even see him trying to get another Second or to move up in the Second Round.
Who do you think are the best LOT/LG to draft? Sherf Irving, Peat, Kouondjo? your choice of big LOTs

O-line
This year we need some big bodies in O-line, cause AFC East has some nasty big dudes..
Verstaile guys like guard/center and LT/LG

LB
Mayo injury was really tough, i hope that he ll fully recover but...

DT
They will be playing heavy run game and we ll have some teams like Dallas, Denver, Eagles who ll have some nasty run game so we need another big run stopper.

CB
Revis and Browner was surprise to me, but after some thoughts i am fine with it. They added some depth with veterans and i guess more zone defense. So CB is more to develop than anything else.

My binkies are G Poutasi, CB/S Rowe, WR Smelter & DT Terry Williams or David Parry

Matt Miller has his 7 rounder out. I really like the first 4 picks.

http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...raft-matt-millers-final-7-round-picks/page/34

1. Byron Jones - CB - UConn
2. Laken Tomlinson - G - Duke
3. Tre McBride - WR - Wm & Mary
3. David Johnson - RB - N Iowa

4. T. Davison - DL - Fresno St
4. B. Richardson - DL - Indiana
6. N. O'Leary - TE - FSU
7. T. McDonald - SS- E. Washington
7. J. Sifrin - TE - UMass

After the first 4 I'd go.

4. Marcus Hardison - DL - ASU
4. B. Heeney - lb - Kansas
6. A. Chickillo - DE - Miami
7. J. Brown - OL - Louisville
7. C. Grant - RB - Auburn

I have a feeling that, when all is said and done, if Bill keeps 32 he takes a 2-down-only DT,
or one of the criminal FSU CBs.

Replace RG Tomlinson with LG Ali Marpet, and I would consider that mock about as good as can be reasonably expected.

His athletic ability coupled with his presence on the edge against the run will make him attractive.

Mayock in his mock Randy Gregory at #32.

I hope we don't go DT in the first round. That is somehow the one pick that would make me irrationally angry. I am fine with almost everything else but somehow I can't see a (realistic) DT that is worth the first round pick.

Firstly I'll not pick. Two TEs, what's that about? But....

those first four picks are beyond good. Wouldn't care about the rest although your choices are excellent.
