Technically, Woody Johnson didn't tamper with Revis. He slipped up during a media press conference. It was an honest mistake, and had no bearing on the outcome of Revis' FA options.

Having said that, I think we're screwed regarding deflate gate, because we got caught red-handed and that hand a DIRECT effect on the outcome of our playoff victories. I'm tired of winning with these asterisks.

Here's a thought, NFL...for these rules you have? Have defined punishments. I know it's been said many times, but think about it: Johnson's tampering is EXACTLY what is used as an example of what tampering is. It was about a specific player, WHO THE JETS THEN SIGNED.

Not true, technically he made a textbook example of tampering and of course it had an effect. That being said, nice try with the we talk.
