While very stupid that was also many months ago, has he cleaned up his act since then?
So has Justin Blackmon.........
Colt Lyrela is welcome to go try and get another chance, I don't want him on the Patriots. He's a moron.

The statement is what bothers me. "A lot of bad mistakes were made in the past." Where's the "I" or "me" in that sentence? Clown can't take responsibility for his actions when it would do him a world of good to do so.
Colt Lyerla looking for one last chance...

The dude is a serious waste of natural talent and ability, and I don't think he's learned from his previous mistakes. I would steer clear, but talent wise he could be a decent option. Emphasis on could.
You didn't answer my question, you just restated your position.
He voiced a stupid opinion which he likely rushed into and didn't bother to do any research on, and later apologized for, what sense does it make to decide he's unforgivable when Belichick has hired guys who have PHYSICALLY ASSAULTED people?

How is he not already a JET?How is he not already a Bronco?
I agree, at this point in the season there's no harm in bringing players in who are talented on minimum-type deals and giving them the axe if they don't produce or still have problems. I can't see how signing him to a tiny one-year deal would hurt anything. There are plenty of spots left to fill on the offseason roster. There's not really any reason not to bring him in for at least a chat, unless the team simply isn't sold on his talent.
