It is one thing to suggest moving up if the right player is there. It is another to suggest giving up our 2nd and 3rd to get that player. So, who would give give picks to move up for?

========
17 Who would you give a 1, 2 and 3 for?

20/21 Who would you give a 1 and 2 for? Or a 1, 3 and top 4?

27 Who would give our 1 plus our 3d or top 4 to get?

30/31 Who would you give a late 4th or 5th to move up to get?
========

Personally, I don't see anyone that I would give a 1, 2 and 3 for, so, for me the trade window starts at 20 which is within reach.

I'd actually be more ok with pushing picks in to next year if the value is there. No one really seems worth it to jump up within reason.

I'll play.

These are not trades I would make to get these players per say but guys I think might make the most sense if we trade up.

#17 - Trae Waynes - CB - If he is there then maybe him, Andrea Pete - OT - Maybe a franchise LT to replace Solder?

#21 - Landon Collins - SS - upgrade your SS spot to help your CBs, Malcom Brown - DT (maybe).

#27 - Byron Jones/Marcus Peters - CB, Eddie Goldman - DT

#27 I would trade #32 and 4th #101 to take Cameron Erving if he was still on the board. That is an equal trade based upon the Trade Value chart. Dallas still gets the CB they want and they were not going to take an OL with the 27th pick anyway.

Only player that I would trade up for is Brandon Scherff... and he would need to fall to #20 for me... which he won't.

I have a hard time getting excited about trading up for any other player, because any of them might fall to #32 if we give them a chance. Erving drops to #32 in plenty of mock drafts. Kevin Johnson could drop to #32, too. And none of them are so transformational that it would kill me to see them go to another team instead.

Any of the elite WRs might seem like possible targets to trade up, but the draft depth at the position is quite good. The #5 WR is not much of a dropoff from #4. And #6 is no slouch either.

This is where what Caserio said about "waiting to see how the draft unfolds" resonates with me. If BB has one specific player in mind, I encourage him to move to #20 and make sure of him. I just have no idea who that might be. There seem to be any number of good players to choose from, some of which will certainly make it to #32.

I would trade our 1st and 2nd to the Eagles for the chance to draft Byron Jones and also get Evan Mathis.

I would trade our 1st, 3rd and 101 to the Eagles to draft Jones on his own.

I'd move up to 27 for Cam Erving, TJ Clemmings or Todd Gurley.

That's probably as much as I'd do unless La'el Collins or Bud Dupree dropped into the twenties.

I want to trade up to 25 in order to get a CB. I like Peters, Jones and Johnson. In that order. In ESPN Mock tonight they had Balt and GB taking corners. I want to move ahead of them. 32 and 96. They need OL help and should get it at 32.

I'm fine with your deals. However, I would amend Jones to "Belichick's #1 CB choice). Dealing with PHIL is a really good idea.

I'm fine with Erving, Clemmings and Hurley. I could also see another of the OT's: Peat, Flowers or Fisher.

A LT who can play LG is of great value to us, given the Solder contract situation.

You might need to throw in a 6th, but this is doable. I would think that 2-3 of the top five corners should be available at 25.

Can I just say that people who "dislike" other people's posts are assholes.

It's a shame because the "Thumbs Down" should be attached to "Disagree", which I'm sure you would agree is always a reasonable Response, whereas having that big, ugly "X" attached to "Disagree" was an equally regrettable Decision. Not to Hate On my Host, here: But clearly the two ought to be switched.

And it's because of those Reasons that I rarely if ever employ either Response.

I consider it both lazy and rude.

Exactly. If you disagree with me, then fine. Tell me why. If you are too lazy to do that then why even bother. I'd understand if I was trolling or being an ass, but all I did was give my reasonable opinion. We're disliking people for that now?

I've only given a dislike once when, in last year's draft thread, someone continued to tip picks after being asked not too. Aside from that, I never give out dislikes or disagrees because it's just not constructive.

Oh well, at least I know who's opinion I can safely ignore in the future.

That's the bit I disagree with. Simply put I'm not happy using all those picks on Jones. I'm happy enough if he's there at #32 though Id prefer Kevin Johnson if we go corner in the 1st.

I would. He's the best corner in the draft in my opinion.
