My post has to do with two Greg Hardys: one the football player; the other the person.
As a football player, by history yeah, some you'd need to scheme around. However, he played zero snaps last year n that in itself factors into the equation. Greg Hardy the person is a scum bucket. No more needs to b said

DALLAS—Praising the organization for their refusal to turn their backs on those with a troubled past, the ACLU honored the Dallas Cowboys Wednesday for their ongoing efforts to reintegrate criminals back into the NFL. “We would like to recognize the Dallas Cowboys for their long history of providing an avenue to ex-convicts who are simply seeking a second chance at life as a professional football player,” said ACLU spokesman Carl Holmes....

Hardy's lawyers will sue the league and he'll be back like that scumbag kid beater/whipper in Minny.

Show some gratitude. Rob sacrifices his life for us listening to those Morans and posting the daily outrage here.

The NFL is turning into mondo bizarro... they knew about this last July when he was found guilty, and then the NFL does an investigation and comes up with this??

The NFL, Roger Goodasshole, is turning into a freaking laughingstock..

What do you think they should have done?

Remember he appealed, so the league, union and player all agreed to him going on the exempt list while that was worked out.
The big gaffe was that he played week 1 and they were ignoring him until the Peterson incident.

I hope not Joker he has been scum all his life.

Cowboy fans are screaming Mara and Goodell have an axe to grind....if Hardy went to another team like the Giants, he would not be suspended - RIGHT.

Would it have been a 10 game penalty if t was the Broncos or the Jets? Maybe, but after the lopsided treatment they received compared to the Jets and Broncos after the uncapped season, they have grounds to be skeptical.

^ Cowboys and Redskins got in trouble in the uncapped season, but don't know about Jets and Broncos.

On the topic of Hardy, every team knew he would get suspended....crying over him is like knowingly buying a luxury sedan with a documented history of being in several crashes.

Oh great another conspiracy theory coming about Goodell doing a Kraft a favor.

And the conspiracy theorists will conveniently ignore the fact that 7 other Cowboy opponents will also not face Hardy (including the Giants and Eagles who will each play Dallas twice during Hardy's suspension)

Is always only about the Patriots

Including, I presume without checking the schedule, other AFC East teams.

They did not need to investigate something that he was found guilty of.. the trial transcript was all they needed to have.

Do they have to investigate Hernandez??

I think the tricky part was that the conviction was set aside when he asked for a jury trial.
I don't know if the 'investigation' really entailled more than reviewing the court case, but I can see where they needed to wait until after the second trial, given the weird NC law.
If that law existed in Mass and Hernandez could have had a judge trial, got convicted then had it set aside because he wanted a jury trial, sure they would have to wait until after the jury trial to CONCLUDE their investigation.

One week after the former LSU offensive lineman was bypassed in the first round of the 2015 NFL draft due to a murder investigation of his pregnant former girlfriend, Collins signed with the Dallas Cowboys on Thursday. Collins had been expected to be a top-15 draft pick.
