That's awesome! Gotta love the part where he leaves Tom hanging on the high five.

Thanks. That's great.

Here's a link to the kick plus the Hail Mary.

The last successful NFL Drop Kick had been made in 1941.

Must be where it all started.

Funny thing is I tell everyone my son started it. In May of 2003 Brady did a signing in Atlantic City and as I approached him with my then 2 year old son, Brady said "high five little man." My son looked at him with trepidation and Tom held his hand there for what seemed like forever as I tried to get him to do it. Being a really cool guy , Tom waited for him to respond until I said, "I don't think he's gonna do it dude." This is what started it all.

I loved watching Flutie play. He was much like Edelman. All football player, willing to do whatever was needed.

Loved watching him play even though I always made fun of over rated BC to my brother & brother-in-law. Got into Foxboro game day picking up seats in the paring lot for games in those days.

Flutie UNDEFEATED in Foxboro.

I was at that game, remember thinking "what the heck is he doing?"

No.

Pats beat him on a last second Bledsoe to Coates TD pass in the corner of the endzone when he was with Buffalo in 1997 or 1998.

How can you forget that?

Good one.
Shoulda said as a Patriot.

Brady ALSO beat him in Foxboro when he played for SD. Epic Brady comeback. I was there.

Both games were epic last minute classics. Fluitie was one helluva battler. Wish the squareheads of the NFL gave him a fair chance.
