We're on to Pittsburgh

Too bad we don't have Vince. I don't think it's a problem to get to Rottenburger with the rush, but we need someone who can get him down. Like trying to wrestle a baby hippo.

Well thanks to the thread title I didn't have the choice to wait and be surprised when the schedule was released 20 minutes from now.:D Can no one in the league office keep their mouth shut about anything?

Just throw some drunk cheerleaders at his feet...he'll take 40 sacks

remember when we were "on to Cincinnati"?

That was in Foxborough too...

I'm probably in the minority, but there's a big part of me that wishes to associate the phrase "we're on to____" with the magic of the 2014 season. I'd rather keep it there, instead of playing it out where it eventually means nothing anymore.

Perhaps I'm just in a bad mood.

-Baby- hippo?

As a football fan, I'm disappointed that we didn't get, IMO, the most intriguing primetime matchup (Eagles). But as a Patriots fan, what good fortune that we get to play the Steelers while still avoiding Le'Veon Bell, perhaps the best all-around RB in the game today.

Be very interesting to see how our D handles Antonio Brown. Butler man to man? That would be a good test of our rookie.

Good point, actually - hadn't thought of it that way. Don't want to kill the joke. It's like Cowboy Up for the Sox. It was nice for a while before it got old.

My wife & I use it all the time when we want to put something we're uselessly obsessing over behind us.

Just use the Ignore User feature :)

Not to defense. they have this guy called Antonio Brown. Might want to check on that. Besides that I am not that worried.

They are missing their top RB and their D is average at best.

Butler would get carved up like a thanksgiving turkey in man to man.

Luckily the Patriots retained one of the top 3 free safeties in the nfl to help keep him from popping the top off the defense.

even if Revis were still here, they would have matched the #2 on Brown with mccourty over the top because Revis has struggled with that type of WR

Why do you say that? To me, he's possibly the best man cover corner left on the roster.

Just because Antonio brown is no joke, he's got some serious speed, acceleration and route running ability.. nothing against butler, but that might be too tall an order for week 1 against someone who is an elite athlete/wr

I'm sorry, PWP. I didn't mean to suggest that it would be so bothersome or annoying that I'd need to use the "ignore" feature.

Personally, I just want to always be able to associate those memories with the wonderful 2014 season, and don't want it to end up getting so watered down that it doesn't mean anything anymore. I realize that I'm probably in the minority with that thinking. I think I'm envisioning a situation where it's just so overused by the end of this upcoming season, that's all.

Bell is such a major part of their offense via overall touches from runs/receptions that it's a MAJOR positive to play them without his services. Just enormous--as you mention.

We had some nice scheduling pluses this year, in my opinion.

Brown is freaking amazing, fun to watch against anyone but us.
