Little upset that all the good games are away. Dallas, Indy, or Denver would be nice to have at least one of those at home. Instead we get Redskins and Jags. Booooooo.

That was known literally 4 years ago. Every NFC East team we played at home in 2011 we now play on the road.

I didn't say it was news, i'm just a little bummed about it.

Why is everyone so pissed off about the schedule? Yeah, the early bye isn't as great as a later bye, but it's not a big deal especially when you get two mini-byes after two TNF games. The better-coached teams win on those short weeks and we know Bill has that covered. Then you get 10 days off. I'm good with it.

There's some decent stays for a few weeks at home and the only rough travel period is the final 4 weeks, but the last two are easy wins at that point in the year with Miami and NYJ out of contention.

14-2, I'm thinking losses to the Giants and Texans.
If we lose to the freaking Giants we can shut the freaking season down right there.

@ESPNNFL: .@markschlereth has the @Broncos going 16-0 this season! http://t.co/qsCs5ysRjc

The greatest franchise of all time. Go denver!
Lol Denver's schedule isn't easy and neither is their division... Manning is another year older, is clearly in decline and now has lost J Thomas and Welker, and Talib is having issues, plus they have a new Head Coach implementing totally new schemes... Yeah, definitely an undefeated season!

Lol just trying to be somewhat realistic, I'm envisioning Beckham, Cruz and Randle vs Fletcher, Butler and Arrington...

Yeah, and I'm envisioning Eli (the Human Turnover Machine) throwing it to them, er, make that toward them...

I don't care if we go 1-15 we better beat the goddamn Giants.

Ok, well I would absolutely care if we went 1-15 but you know what I mean.

No AFC on thanksgiving again?

I'm sick of facing the good Eli. We are due for the Eli that throws INTs and makes bad decisions.

I think Seattle had the exact same thing last year
Two ways to look at that.
On the one hand, it's tough being the king.
On the other, they got back to the SB. So can we!

I agree, let's get both seeds.

No problem: 16-0, nobody else tops 8-8. Both halves of your schedule have the tiebreaker advantages to place 1 & 2. Make it so!

Finishing two on the road is sort of tough, but who wants to be at Gillette during Christmas vacation anyway.
Christmas "vacation"? Isn't that something kids do?

--Glad to see the @Miami game coming near the end. We were due after last season's early game in the heat/humidity of Sept.

--the early bye should have been expected by just about everyone considering that we've gotten the golden ticket in the past couple of years with a mid-season week off. On the 2 "predictor" entries that I submitted (one in wife's name), I had the bye coming in week 5, and the other in week 6. Yes, it sucks that it's the very first available bye, but it was inevitable. Much like we were "owed" a later season game @Miami, the league was owed an early or later bye. I had a hard time envisioning a week 12 bye, due to the league's assumption that we'd likely have a nice rest point prior to the post-season.

--Prior to the Oct.11th game @DAL, the Pats will only leave Foxborough once from the end of training camp/preseason. Couple that with the early bye in week 4, and the "real" season won't begin until the Cowboys game. If we're 2-1 or better at that point, we should be in good shape moving forward. It should be a fine time period to iron out some early wrinkles, which is the norm in many years.

--Getting the Steelers without Le'Veon Bell is HUGE. Just enormous. He touches the ball via runs or receptions on a high percentage of their plays. To take it one step further, aside from the NYJ, what organization is more deserving to come and watch the unveiling of the championship banner?

Based on how Manning played last year even before he injured his thigh, I am not sure they will win their division never mind all their games. Manning is a big question mark this season. Is he done? Can he be remotely the QB he once was? Have teams figured out how to defend him now that his arm strength is gone?
