It will be at 8pm but iirc some game dates got leaked throughout the day last year.

Hoping to go to the Denver game this year as first choice for a road trip.

Dallas if Denver doesn't work out possibly both.

It will be interesting to see how the Winter Classic impacts the end of the season.

Will the Patriots max out on night games this year ?

I want to see the Pats play Dallas on thanksgiving
League always schedules the worst games for Thanksgiving. How did they put Oakland in Dallas for Thanksgiving instead of Denver two years ago? And how the **** has there not been Eli vs Romo on Thanksgiving not even once? Should have happened multiple times by now not sure McNabb even played against Romo on Thanksgiving.

they do it because they know america is going to watch the game regardless of who plays - it's tradition for most families. so they put the crummy games on Thanksgiving - get high ratings for those - and then put the best games of the week on sunday night football or monday night - and get high ratings for them as well.

Patriots only played the Cowboys once back in 1984 on Thanksgiving so that would be a interesting game.

and I hate such games because I have a family
Plan: 4:30 game, dark by then, early p.m. dinner, stuff everyone with tryptophan -filled turkey and cheap wine and hope they're all asleep by kickoff. PS: muffle your cheers.

Did anyone else do that contest on the Pats site to guess the schedule? You can win tickets or something if you are the closest to correct... I'm excited to see what comes out! Although I'm sure I'll be totally wrong just like the draft :(

That's what I was thinking right after I posted it. It's ****ty but, it is what it is I guess.

I hope we get the jets game 1

I hope the Colts game is a primetime game so we can run it down their throats and run up the score on them by say 70-0? :)

Think it will be Pittsburgh first up, in much the same way as Seattle played conference rivals Green Bay last year

In this order (opening game) : PIT, BUF, PHI, NYJ.

They might put PIT/PHI so as to not "waste" a division game.

Schedule release date is one of my favourite days of the year. It means I can start planning my trip to the US. I'd like to get to Denver, Dallas, NY and a game at Foxboro.

My money is on the team opening against either Pittsburgh or Philly. If they open against a divisional opponent, my money is on Miami (though I don't think they'll do that). But I think the NFL wants to see two elite quarterbacks go at it on opening night so Pittsburgh makes the most sense.

If I had to choose, I'd definitely pick Dallas after No Mo's "joke" the other night. But, Denver would be great too.

Agree. It's gotta be one of the PA teams.

I think Pittsburgh has more legit story lines for a pre-game buildup: two of the top QB's of their generation, one of the two only franchises to have gone to as many SB's as the Pats (8) (Dallas) and one of three only teams to have won more SB's (6), (Dallas and SF 5). (Also, along with Dallas and GB, one of three teams with a truly national fan base.)

Then Philly, but the story-line there would be all about Chip Kelly's off-season moves and whether the guy is a genius or just nuts.

Then Buffalo. Rex. LaSean. Rex. Rex. Rex.

If it's not one of those three, I'd be amazed.
