Winning the Super Bowl, allows me to tolerate this off season.

I literally chucked my TV out a 3rd story window in Feb. 2012. A 150 lb 40 inch tube TV.

Yes, I got evicted.

I'm better now, thanks Malcolm. :)
I think you underestimate your strength - those 40" tube tvs weighed closer to 200lbs. That's impressive

Even if we didn't win..i wouldn't be jumping off of roofs like a lot of people here still are..

I can 'tolerate' any offseason when BB is in charge. I remember the first 40 years of Patriot's football.

In contrast to the OP, I don't care, I can't stand it!

...or maybe a WTF Sebastian Vollmer moment, or a WTF Matthew Slater moment?

From how often Wilson is brought up as the poster child for Patriots drafting, I'm thinking he must have been drafted a dozen times. :)

Actually Wilson was a good pick compared to Ron Brace.

SB 49 never gets old! It's my go-to place whenever I feel the offseason is getting too negative. And I would also add Tom Brady rocking the Lombardi Trophy #5 t-shirt at Fenway Opening Day. Classic!

Does anyone know if there is an archived radio broadcast of this game? Thanks.

I think this offseason will be very exciting. Think of all the teams with high draft picks every year and tons of money who can't get it together. We'll have to play a tough hand, but we have the best front office in football to use brains and efficiency to do it.

Besides Revis, Gronk etc. some of the best moments last year were castoffs like Ayers, Branch and Casillas who stepped up and I'd include late season Amendola. Getting more out of less and out competing against the league is exciting to me. Still have the draft and FAs that outperform more expensive ones coming up IMO.

Hell, the whole 2001 team was a bunch of over achievers who were incredible to watch!

Or a WTF Richard Seymour,
WTF Logan Mankins, WTF Jamie Collins, WTF Devon McCourty?

After so many seasons watching BB prove himself right, and fans and media explode in rage over their infinite wisdom, I've learned there really isn't any point getting worked up about a Belchick off-season. He is planning and deciding matters on a totally different level than the rest of us.

:)

Yeah, I've come to the conclusion that he just might know what he's doing.

It's impossible to argue against the fact that it was a major reach, but I was somewhat surprised to find out that Tavon Wilson played the most special teams snaps out of any Patriots player last year, and that obviously includes Matthew Slater.

It seems as though he's contributing more than many think--just not as much as we'd expect from a 2nd round pick.

It's made the offseason better but even without a super bowl I can't imagine wanting things much different than the moves and nonmoves thus far. I did want Reggie bush a lot especially at cheaper than Vereen but hopefully we'll see in a few months why we passed that up, gotta be something going on there.

Brady wearing the #5 t-shirt helped make this offseason fun. I just hope he can liven up next year's off-season with a #6 shirt.

2015 hasn't been a bad year to date, football-wise. My personal life, on the other hand, has been a total train wreck. But football-wise, I have nothing to complain about.

welp...time for some unasked for advice from your ol' pal, Joe Kerr, my friend...

Life is like a three ring circus...

First, there's the engagement ring

Then, the wedding ring....

and THEN.....

the SUFFERING

so, try to keep the bearded lady and the circus clowns from tearing down your tent...:D

It's just day after day of being a fan of the Super Bowl Champion NE Patriots.

That's a good kind of off-season.

Hear, hear.

Opposing fans and players used to laugh at us. Now they cry about us.

I like it much better now.

Ahhhh I seee but you conveniently leave out losing AH permanently when he was part of our 2 TE strategy. And they made the call on Welker because they knew they had AH.

And then Tblow? Like I said, that was not a good off season.

And whether or not the jury was in or out on Revis is irrelevant. They couldn't keep him anyway at the salary they would have had to pay to keep him from going to the Jets. And they shouldn't' have paid him. It would have hamstrung them this year and again when other key players were going to need extensions.

Most people who understand football get this. Its the whiny Madden guys who just dont get it. And quite frankly, the adults are tired of trying to explain it.

First you reply to cup's post by leaving all but one line completely out, basically to take him out of context, and now you're accusing him of leaving something out in his response. That's rich.

I know the Bruins didn't make the playoffs this year and you might be upset, but there's no reason to take it out on someone here, especially with the rude "adult" comment at the end.

And the worst thing about Tebow wasn't his few followers that were here, it was all the whining coming from his haters. By your very adult use of his name I can tell which side of that fence you're sitting on.
