I dunno. AH is a pretty big dude who played in the NFL. Not too many people can stand toe-to-toe with someone of that size, strength and speed.
Theres always someone bigger and tougher than you in a joint like Walpole. Believe it.

Is adam sandler gonna play Hernandez in The Longest Yard 2?

Being a notorious killer in prison can have its downsides as other prisoners try to make a name for themselves...Ask Albert DeSalvo, Jeffrey Dahmer, Richard Loeb and others (if you could)

Those mentioned harmed women and children. There's a code among thieves, and you don't harm women and especially children. They were also weren't famous athletes. Mike Tyson was revered in prison and said he was too tired to workout because he was sleeping with so many visitors and prison staff. I think Hernandez's term will be more like Tyson's (though longer) than the other sickos you mentioned.

Great, now those fuc*ers at ESPN can stop posting Aaron Hernandez crap on the ESPN Patriots blog. Oh wait...he's got another murder charge...FML!

Cap relief comes if they can recoup some of the signing bonus they paid; the big question is if he gets convicted of the other murders, because then he would have been in breach of his contract on the day he signed it.

No kidding. Somewhat lost in all this is that he is still facing the double-homicide rap.

His appeal will probably get shot down.

There was a $7.5 million dead money (no pun) charge on the 2014 cap. Will the Patriots get a cap credit for that now is the important question.

I wouldn't b surprised if he's transferred out of state into another DOC facility. No chief wants s "high profile" prisoner in their confines. To them "management n safety" r priorities n someone like Hernandes can Disrupt those priorities. Another state will make a trade. It's nothing more than Making a draft day trade: far n equal value

Maybe they are able to transfer AH and get another prisioner + a "next year pick" in exchange.

"What a disgusting human being."

Sincerely,
Bernie Madoff

I know he did it. You know he did it. Everyone knows he did it. No one believes at this point he did not personally pull the trigger.

In a court of law it is not about what you know but what you can prove. I didn't think they could prove it. And honestly they did not. He should not have got this charge going by the legal letter of the law. I am not complaining though. If I was on that jury I would've said "screw it; lets find him guilty of murder 1 anyway".

Where is he not going to be "high profile"? Guantanamo? Afghanistan?

I typically don't much care what the media says but I just heard Jim Rome basically insinuate that Pats fans were behind Hernandez all along saying that Pats fans were chanting not guilty at the start of the trial. I'm sure there were a few knuckleheads at the courthouse when he was first arraigned but he made it sound like the entire fan base was behind AH.

Aaron Hernandez will be considered a "trophy" by someone else who is doing time, for no other reason than notoriety...

The Mass DOC will have to protect him.. so his activities will be limited and would not be surprised to hear he is in a very controlled setting.. maybe protective custody.

Remember Father John Geoghan?? He was a pedophile, another inmate stomped him to death. AH is not a pedophile, but he is famous..

When a professional football player kills someone in MA, he gets thrown off the team then sent to prison for life.

In Baltimore, MD, when a professional football player kills someone, he gets a contract extension, a statue in front of the stadium, and a retirement gig at ESPN.

I guess different laws in different states.

I am amazed you had the time and interest to attend that entire trial.

I would guess the debate was over premeditation because the prosecution weren't allowed to introduce the motive.
In fact, the jury said they couldn't agree on premeditation. But the other criteria for 1st degree murder in MA is "by reason of extreme atrocity or cruelty". The jury decided this murder fit because the killing was execution-style, Lloyd was shot six times in the back.
