Aaron Hernandez found guilty of first-degree murder

I would guess the debate was over premeditation because the prosecution weren't allowed to introduce the motive.
if your a sick freak like ah you dont need a motive to kill somebody.

Difficult case but not surpised. It does illustrate the difference between TV law and real law though. Many convictions come from circumstantial evidence. Circumstantial evidence can be stronger than direct evidence in some cases. For instance, a statement from a druggie would be direct evidence. DNA evidence is circumstantial... Circumstantial evidence just needs to be supported by other evidence in order to be strong...it was in this case...strong enough...All of this "no murder weapon" stuff is good for TV lawyers but not real lawyers.

Which is incredible that Aaron was that lost.
Wouldn't be shocked Hernandez family blamed this on concussions and sued the NFL.

It would be the first time someone blamed being a psychopath and serial murderer on concussions.

That was actually the most puzzling aspect until we learned that he was trying to keep Lloyd quiet about the double shooting.

Can't believe I ever rooted for this guy. The things people can hide...

Given that his apparent lawlessness began when he was in college, they wouldn't win.

I felt such an odd rush of emotions watching this at the gym. Firstly, there is no doubt, IMO, that he did it and it does not matter that it was "only" circumstantial evidence. Each strand of that evidence tied together becomes a strong, unbreakable rope and that is what happened here. He is going away for good. In Massachusetts there is an automatic appeal but I don't think it's getting overturned. Way to waste your life, Aaron. You disgust me.

But at the same time I felt so sad. Not for Aaron but for everyone else that this affected. Such a tragedy.

Nope, most anything you can think of from twinkies to sleepwalking has been tried before...

If the prosecution is right in their theory that Lloyd was part of the double murder it mitigates my sympathy for him but not for his family.

The Birth Defense: Does Being Born Create Mass Murderers?

"If Aaron wasn't born these crimes would have never occurred. It's birth's fault. If he doesn't exist you must desist!"

Enjoy gladiator school, Aaron. Remember the penal motto..Ramus In Buttico in Perpetuam

scumbag.

ESPN's fantasy wish...
MA governor pardons AH
AH re-signs with Pats for vet minimum
ESPN ratings & revenue blow through the roof

If i was AH, id just change my plea on the double homicide to guilty. Save whatever money he has left.

What a waste...
What would he be saving it for? He has no kids. He's going to be spending the rest of his life in prison anyway. Might as well roll the dice. Maybe he'll get lucky on appeal of this case.

Look at these f*cking losers. Finding any way to attach the Patriots to this. Literally the scum of all media.

ESPNNFL
On August 27, 2012, NE signed Hernandez to a 5 yr extension worth up to $40 million, & a $12.5 million signing bonus. http://t.co/HIy3bSgsST

Aaron Hernandez has been ordered to serve his life sentence in Walpole, MA... about 1.5 miles from Gillette Stadium, where Patriots play.

DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMN
HE GOT LIFE WITHOUT PAROLE........DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMN
I know he's appealing that. Jeez, this is one bad dude.

A guy who goes from toast of the town, to "prison trophy in 3 years"... have fun in high security.. you will never be able to hold your child or girlfriend, soon you will be out of money..

I thought that he would be convicted all along, the defense was stymied in some of the evidence, thought that they presented a case that was like "death by a 1,000 paper cuts".. the admission by the Defense that he was there may have backfired.

This will be appealed automatically, however the Judge played by all of the rules.. not much chance there.

Threw everything away to be a gangsta. Some people have a family life, some people just have a cover. He probably thought he was going to be found Not Guilty. Good riddance to bad rubbish! You, have chosen poorly!
