The redirect issue has been eliminated overnight, so we should finally be in the clear. I just tested it repeatedly and it's no longer occurring, so it appears we've finally got it taken care of. My apologies to everyone for having to deal with it, and hopefully that's the end of anything like that moving forward.

I didn't get the opportunity last night to start reimplementing the template but I'll do that tonight, and there will be a new one coming before the draft that hopefully you'll like that will be site-wide. I'll also reactive the ratings functions, ignore thread options, and other add-ons that are currently disabled later this evening as well.

But otherwise I'm definitely glad to have this behind us, so thank you all again for your support and patience.

Nice work, Ian. Any idea how their stuff was working? I'm always interested in this sort of thing. It's so intriguing!

Thanks Ian, I think I speak for everyone when I say we deeply appreciate your relentlessness in fixing this issue.

Absolutely, but I miss our friend already. Nothing like going to the site on an IPad while sitting on the couch with the wife next to me when it redirects and having the spouse ask, "what site are you on?"
"No seriously, it's Patsfans.com"

Thanks again Ian for what had to be a frustrating and thankless job....

How am I gonna make new friends now? :(

Huzzahh! I too am curious what the problem was.

Thanks Ian! Appreciate the work you do.

Just curious, did anyone contact any person at adultfriend and ask why they were hacking the site? It looked like it was out of Seattle, not like Chinese pirates. Or do adult sites really care that little about being decent on the Internet? (I feel naive typing this)

If I were to guess, what ever hack marketers they were using just found a huge amount of "Seattle" talk here recently and figured this site catered to the Pac NW region?

I don't need these questions answered. Happy the problem is fixed. Thanks!

Realize you are probably going back to the same basic format as before, but one thing that I have appreciated with the lack of formatting is the full use of the wide screen... a lot less scrolling.

Ian, thank you for all you efforts, greatly appreciated.

It happened to me only once, but I'll forever have fond memories of that birthday-suit girl. :)

They didn't do it, one of their affiliates was obviously involved and I'll be making sure they don't receive a dime from those referrals

Just great, now what will I use for an excuse to my fiance for being on adultfriendfinder :(

Thanks Ian for all your hard work!

Use the Ignore thread option on this thread. She never has to know the problem's been solved. ;)

Good job. What a pain in the ass. I'm still betting it was really arranged by a jealous Jet fan at "Jets Confidential" or some such site.
