If you don't think this:
but I’ve heard the investigators have been through Foxboro more than once. Anybody who touched the footballs or knows the people who touched the footballs has been subjected to metal chair under a single naked lightbulb-type questioning.
refutes that 'the investigation is taking so long because they are focussed on the colts and the league'
Then you simply are in denial and cannot admit you are wrong.
By the way, you need to hone your comprehension skills. The anyone who touched the footballs comment is in the next sentence and same paragraph as being in Foxboro more than once, so that is not about Kensil or the Colts, unless they flew to Foxboro,
So, you successfully posted a story that refutes something that Breer never said. Congratulations!
Never once did Breer say this investigation is taking so long because they investigating the Colts and League. He said that he feels that what the league and Colts knew and did before and during the game will be the key to report and feels that that will be extensively covered. And based Curran's article, CURRAN AGREES WITH BREER.
And read the quote you posted again. It says anyone who touched the footballs or knows people who touched the footballs have been put under the microscope. That doesn't begin and end with the Pats. That implies that the refs, the Colts, and Kensil are getting the same scrutiny because all touched the football. Here is the quote again:
Anybody who touched the footballs or knows the people who touched the footballs has been subjected to metal chair under a single naked lightbulb-type questioning.
Again, Breer never said that the investigation turned from the Pats to the League and Colts (That was Sharks of Vegas). He just implied that the League and Colts were examined extensively and there could be some damning evidence against them of anything from incompetence to something shady. There was little chance that the Pats weren't going to be put under a microscope whether the Wells reports convicts them or exonerates them. Wells was hired to investigate the Patriots and even if he found evidence of the League and Colts conspiring to set up the Pats, he still needed to thoroughly investigate the Pats to see if they purposely deflated the balls.
My reading comprehension is just fine, you might want to check your's. Hey maybe the refs, Kensil, and the Colts all have ESP and never actually touched the footballs and will not be put under the microscopes. But if they are just mere mortals, Curran states that they were examined extensively.
