PJ Williams DUI and other CBs thoughts

Are you talking about Rollins or PJ. I did not hear about the missed tackle for PJ; if so, that is not BB's type of guy.
Williams, as evidenced by the reference to off the field issues.

Williams is a great tackler. Never heard him referred to as soft.

Selfishly, it is all about me after all, I hate that they didn't sign Revis because no I have to spend time researching CBs... it screws up my whole thought process.

Just saw this from Peter Schrager, it seems dead on:
I had one NFC scout list his top three cornerbacks. I then had an AFC coach list his. Not a single name overlapped on the two lists. Good luck picking the right defensive backs in the first round.

I definitely get the feeling that CB rankings are sliding all over the place. Trey Waynes is usually still #1, but not always. 4 other CBs are showing up in the top 20 in some mocks, but all 4 are 2nd-rounders in other mocks. For reference, I've compiled the draft slots of all of the CBs mocked in the top 64 in mocks published in the past few days. (A * means out of the top 2 rounds.)

I would be fine with PJ Williams as a Patriot...if they can dry him out.

He has exceptional coverage skills and from what I have seen, he is the best tackler in this years CB group and is hard hitting (although he does like to launch himself). And as you all know, superior tackling means he could also be looked at for Safety.

His speed issues might mean that he would need help when covering the deep side of the field, but while he does not have great track speed, he seems to have excellent field speed.

Looking at the georgia tech game, you can see that Williams was a tackling machine in that game.
