2015 Patriots Draft Contacts

Mentioned the #Patriots working out Denzel Perryman. They’ve also worked out TCU LB Paul Dawson (as have CAR, ATL & TB). Pats deep in LB mix

For some reason I can't paste links anymore from Twitter. That was from Ian Rappoport. The interest in linebackers is strong.

#Patriots held a private workout last week with Northwestern St. DT Deon Simon, per league source. That's after formal interview at combine.
@cpriceNFL

Second contact with Simon.

Dante and Ross Ventrone were at the Florida pro day as well.

Josh Norris listed NE as a team with which Jeremiah Poutasi has a visit or workout with. Didn't specify which.

Jeremiah Poutasi, me like it

From Matt Miller

Sources tell me the #Patriots worked Samford safety Jaquiski Tartt out today at South Alabama. He's a Mobile native.

USC TE Randall Telfer is visiting next week according to RavensInsider.

Excellent. Walton gets some nice write ups and has terrific size.

From @davebirkett, the #Patriots held a private workout with 6'5, 320 lbs DT Leterrius "L.T." Walton. 1st Team All MAC, 3 year starter.

With Simon and now Walton on the list, this prediction of yours is looking better and better:

If they do draft two then the Chris Jones debate might get an answer. Can they fit two new DTs onto the roster without cutting someone?

Seems like a typical day 3 choice.. I would be intrigued..

Yup. Walton intrigues. He really looks the part and every scouting report I've seen suggests he's someone who's only going to get better.

With Simon and now Walton on the list, this prediction of yours is looking better and better:

If that's the case, maybe we need another look at Michael Bennett.

Aw, do I have to? Bennett's a player I have real trouble coming up with a valuation on, so I've compensated by ignoring him. :)

These are the only ones I know about, I'm sure it's incomplete.

those are some but size running backs, probably says a lot on who they will draft for the o line.

According to Mike Loyko on Twitter:

#Patriots worked out #Northwestern Safety Ibraheim Campbell last week. New ST Coach Ross Ventrone likes him. per sources.

According to Mike Loyko on Twitter:

Ibraheim Campbell is my favourite safety in this class. Extremely underrated, physical, fast, smart and supposedly very dedicated to the game and improving himself. Would be an upgrade on Chung from the get go.

I think I mentioned him in a binky thread two or three months ago. Love him.

The next Malcolm Butler?? New England Patriots worked out Tray Walker/DB/Texas Southern today. St Louis rams working him out tomorrow

Per Tony Pauline

Outstanding length at 6'2".

Cincinnati linebacker Jeff Luc will have visits with the #Jets and #Patriots before the draft. Both teams have shown interest in ILBs.

Big fan of Jeff Luc. Brandon Spikes 2.0. similar prospect to Hightower although doesn't quite have that upside.
