didnt take too long for sexy rexy to stamp his mantra and philosophy into the players in Buffy --Look, they are the PRE-DRAFT SB FINALISTS (just listen to them)

http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/eye-on-football/25143995/bills-wr-robert-woods-super-bowl-is-the-expectation-in-buffalo

When Rex Ryan was introduced as the Bills new head coach back in January, one of the first things that came out of his mouth was a guarantee -- A guarantee that the Bills would end their 15 year playoff drought.

"I'm not going to let our fans down," Ryan said at the time. "I'm not going to do that. I know it's been 15 years. Well, get ready. We're going."

It seems that Ryan's brashness is starting to rub off on his new team.

"Get to the Super Bowl," Woods said of his expectations for the Bills. "Nothing less than the Super Bowl with this team and the possibilities of our offense and our defense. That's what we're shooting for.

Poor Robert Woods.

He's a very good WR on an offense that is a QB away from being very dangerous, Rex probably doesn't even know who he is yet and has no idea what to do about their lack of a QB so will just draft 6 D-Lineman to add to an already stacked defense.

For many teams their Superbowls occur in Free Agency and the draft, I prefer mine to occur in February..

I see nothing wrong with what Woods said.

Rex? That's just Rex - - and he didn't even specify THIS year as the "we're going".

Well nothing there really.

Rexy should want to get his team to the playoffs and he didn't say it was going to happen next season (though most fans would probably imply that).

A team that believes it can't win...can't.

The Red Sox were down in spring training saying that nothing less than a World Series this year is a disappointment. They finished last last year.

Ryan leads with a winning attitude. Good for him. I question his personnel choices (a lot) and he needs a great offensive coordinator who can force the issue, but the guy can coach.

Buffalo's a talented team - would it really surprise anyone to see them make the playoffs this year?

didnt take too long for sexy rexy
I never have understood what some guys find sexy about this man. Really? Even before he lost weight they were calling him that. I don't know if it might be a gay thing, but to each his own ... I guess.

I believe it's said in jest.

Ha, never give Rex the benefit of the doubt, he did say it. If I remember correctly the quote was "... well get ready we're going."

Having intermediate goals is important if you want to be considered a mature, realistic person.

It's great to make all sorts of guarantees based on nothing, but repeatedly guaranteeing and missing just makes you look like a buffoon.

Baseball, but i'll always remember **** Williams claim [for you oldies] upon taking the helm of a team that had been horrible for years.

"We will win more ballgames than we lose." Of course they did better. Any idiot, on a team that hasn't won anything in years, can say we're going to win the Super Bowl.

I doubt you'll hear that from teams most likely to do so.

Perhaps Rex is taking an Edison quote out of context.

"I have not failed. I've just found 10000 ways that won't work"
to mean that he only has to be right once..

Honestly, it's OK. We don't discriminate here. Gumby has nothing to be ashamed of.

Although I bend a lot of different ways, I've never done (or had the urge to do) anything like that with a guy, (or a bird ;) for that matter Tunes). But, on the other hand, I think you need to get your sarcasometer checked, it seems a little 'limp'. :)

For the record (for those w/out a sense of humor), for some of us he's been 'sexy rexy' ever since the toe sucking thing went public. All to do with his proclivities and nothing to do with his 'appeal' to ANY member of the board

I'll bet you had the record The Impossible Dream......
I listened to that a hundred times.

Bills shooting for SB? Too bad they brought a water gun to the gun range

This is how the Bills will get to the SB

Go get 'em, Rex. "We're on to the first round of the 2015 NFL draft (uh, what? We traded our first pick last year to move up to get Sammy Watkins? Well, that sucks.) Okay, we're on to the 50th overall pick in the second round of the 2015 NFL draft!"

Absolutely and a cat wandered in late in the season and we named it Yaz. Best cat we ever had. Used to be baseball fanatics in my household and my first sports memories were going to Fenway to watch some pretty crappy teams, so that team was very special.

I could still sing the whole Yaz song word for word.
