Mine is TE Maxx Williams from Minnesota, love the way this kid plays. As much as I love the Scott Chandler signing, I would love Maxx Williams to be drafted by the Pats.

I like Williams too but not quite that much.

Very tough question to answer. The nominees would be: Abdullah, Hardison, Jarrett, McBride, Smelter, Odighizuwa, Clemmings and Sendish. If you were to pin me down right now, I'd say Ameer Abdullah - great guy and great to watch; his game winning TD against McNeese State was just awesome - but my answer could easily change tomorrow.

Binkies by round:

round 1: Peters, Erving, almost B. Jones
round 2: R. Greene, Marpet, Abdullah
round 3: Crowder, T. Davis, Olomu

Todd Gurley

I think he's going to be an absolute star

Mine is bud dupree. If he somehow lasts until 32 I wouldn't hesitate taking him there. I know there's not an overwhelming need for him on this team, but imagine our front seven. It would be Opposing qbs nightmare.

Shaq Thompson. I've kind of know him or about him so to speak since he was 10 years old. Graduated with the same class as my daughter. Super nice guy with a good head on his shoulders. Watched him play flag football in middle school to watching him play at high school at Grant. It's funny because once in awhile at the fields whether it be baseball, soccer, football etc that you hear people talking about this kid or that kid is special and has a chance at the pros. He was so dominating, athletically and mentally that it really put in perspective how good you really have to be to find yourself as one of the top college prospects in all of football.

Now I know they probably won't draft him, tweeter etc. But I do feel a certain amount of pride actually knowing what kind of person he is and how hard he worked to get where he is. Fun fact. In his senior yr he left the Northern California track and field championships midway through to honor his commitment to attend the prom with his girlfriend. My daughter and myself are both big fans wherever he ends up.

Ok, I will bite, I don't know where he will be picked but in the right system he could have a huge impact. I like Dorsett from Miami.

TJ Yeldon.

Not the big flashy RB as some are, but a solid, dependable running back and a football player like Belichick prefers. It's true that I'm also an Alabama homer, but this kid seems to have that "it".

He's played under Nick Saban, who runs a pro-style system at Alabama that is very similar to what New England uses, even a similar vocabulary, so Yeldon wouldn't have as difficult a transition as some others might.

What I REALLY REALLY like about him is that's he's willing to do whatever his coaches asked of him. In a pressure situation, on several different occasions he waved off a back up and stayed in the game while hurt. He has pretty soft hands and caught virtually everything tossed close to him, especially out in the flat.

Now, he won't break off those super-fast, 20+ yard runs like Barry Sanders, but he'll consistently get you 4+ yards when you need them.

Anyway, that's my 2-cents on the subject. If he's available in the 2nd or 3rd round, or even later, it is my own, personal opinion (and nothing more than that) that the Patriots would be well served by drafting him.

Center Reese Dismukes is my only true binky. Getting him means a successful draft as far as I am concerned.

eric rowe

Kenny Bell
A great blocking-WR and has the ability to go deep.

I am intrigued by bell also, very productive, ran the whole route tree and blocks.

The guy I like best as far as fit for the pats is Shelton. But no way he gets past Cleveland.

My 2 faves are Preston Smith and Fear Ameer. I will be fans of those 2 regardless of where they go and because BB gets a kick out of making me wrong when I predict our draft I will say that I hope those 2 are not drafted by the Pats.....reverse psychology ;)

Well said on Fear Ameer.

Been a Cornhusker fan for a long time and cannot remember a player I have cheered for so much. He is just a good dude and very easy to pull for. He works very hard on and off the field.

Todd Gurley
Ali Marpet
Marcus Hardison

Owanagbe Odighizuwa, UCLA -- good against the run and pass. Doesn't have great sack numbers, but applies constant pressure on the Qb. Doesn't leave big throwing /running lanes for the QB/RB's to exploit.
Phillip Dorsett, Maimi -- Reminds me of Percy Harvin/Odell Beckham from college days.
Julius White, Rice -- good against both run and pass. Always seem to be at the right place to make the play. Tackles really well in the open field. Bad Pro day numbers.

One of my other favorites is WR Chris Conley Georgia. Not only does he have great measurables, he extremely smart (graduated high school early) extremely well spoken, just a very impressive person, period. Watch some of his videos, his interviews, and what people think of him, just very impressive, great personality, and great talent. Impossible not to like this guy.

Add in 6'2" 1/2 215, 4.35 40, 45 vertical, 11.7 long jump, catches the ball extremely well with excellent hands, good YAC. I'd love for BB to draft this guy. He's the anti-Hernandez.

I like McKinney from Miss St. We don't really need him. But, love me some tough linebackers.
