Stevan Ridley Gets Massive Jets Logo Tattooed On His Forearm (Video)

Well in fairness, obviously he's just recording his NFL history - getting a tattoo of each team he plays with. While I'd still probably pass on the Jets - let alone a Jets tattoo - if it were me, that's the team that signed him so he's commemorating that with another tattoo

I know in general we all respect his contributions here - but he has to expect some hazing from us now that he's a Jet ;)

Man the afc east has made so many moves and spent so much money this offseason. I'm gonna laugh when it all amounts to nothing and the pats are representing the entire afc in SB 50

No doubt the Jets can't get any worse - and with the money they've had to spend, obviously they've improved.

But all of these other AFC East Teams are pretty new and raw and it takes guys and coaches awhile to learn each other

I'm not saying other AFC East teams can't contend - I just don't see it happening this season

When your new team gets about a month of meaningful games before they're out of contention every year, and you won't even be ready to play by that time, tattooing a giant Jets logo on your arm in the off-season is the last chance you have to remind fans and coaches that you're still technically in the league.

Just one of the many sacrifices Jets coaches and players make every year to receive a paycheck in the NFL.

He's just doing logos of the teams he's playing for. Wish he went somewhere else, but hope he does well enough to get s big contract somewhere else next season.

haha yea this is how I feel.. I loved Ridley while he was here and wish him well in life, but he chose the New York JESTS out of 30 other teams.

You want to be a Jet, you get everything that comes with it... which is a heated rivalry, turned ablaze in an engine of hate, forged from the hot embers of bitterness that these 2 teams have stoked throughout a history of low-blowing each other every chance they get... The Jets being on the less honorable side of that equation, in my HUMBLE opinion.

Call me petty, call me bitter, call me whatever you want to... I wish him health, happiness and good fortune... OFF THE FIELD... but on the field, hes a JET, the lowest life-form in the NFL!

I doff my cap to you Ridley, good Sir... and thank you for shared purpose these last few years, but its off with your head on Sundays!

Really? The JETS? "COMMON MAN!"

Heated rivalry? You mean like the rivalry between a hammer and a nail?

That's like tattooing your current girlfriends name on yourself.

LOL, this is much worse. He could get cut during training camp or around preseason, so it's more like getting a name tattoo of a girl you're sorta dating but not official with yet.

Terribly poor judgment by the young man. Now we know why the Patriots didn't bring him back.

I heard that Woody Johnson encourages his players to do this as a form of free advertising.

It'll look great with his super bowl ring.

This is just plain stupid, I mean, in any other team this wouldn't help him in nothing, actually it would open the eyes of coach and GM about the poor judgement and lack of smarts, but since he is with the Jets no big deal.

1 year contract, really?

Tattoo is done in sessions I believe that the end of it , it will looks like this . He can not be that dumb

I would have thought most players wouldn't do anything overt to bring attention to the fact that they ever played for the Rats, and hope that people's memories would fade over time.
