Stevan Ridley signs with the Jets

So he gets offers from three teams ...

Proceeds to choose the team whose QB sucks the most ... :confused:o_O:confused:

Except when they play the Broncos, Colts, Steelers, Chargers, Dolphins, or you know like any team that might be competing with the Pats for a playoff spot.

Hate the Jets all you want but I want what is best for the Pats and if that means the Jets play the Bronocs I am a Jets fan that day. Seriously, why do people put thought into hating a team that is so insignificant or worse root for the Jets to lose when the team that beats them could hurt the Pats chances at home field, a bye or a playoff spot.
You want people to actually think before letting their knees jerk? Good luck with that.

Could mean he'd get the ball more.

Who outside of him and Revis?
I wasn't just referring to Pats free agents. Suh, Harvin, Cameron, Cromartie, and even McCoy via trade. That's quite a few high-profile FAs to come to the AFCE.

The enemy of my enemy is my friend

Bill will get into his head , man if he fumbles against us he's gonna cry in the bench.

Damn, I really hate that this happened. I thought Ridley was our clear best back prior to injury this year, and responded to a SLIGHTLY below average season of fumbling by not fumbling at all before he got hurt.

I hate that we lose a disproportionate number of our best players to division rivals. Salty.

He was definitely the best between the tackles back we had before blount was brought back.

Predicting 3.4 yds a carry against us with one garbage td and one forced fumble recovered by Hightower caused by Chandler Jones.
That's when on the occuring drive Julian catches a pass in stride with Revis playing off.
Julian makes a move which makes Revis slip Edelman blows past him stiff arms Cromaterie.
Gronk lays out the Safety and Edelman waltzes in the end zone from 56 yards.

Ridley and Revis on the Jets... I like both those guys... maybe I'll root for the Jets some this year...

...made you look. ;)

I remember when people rooted for the Jets against the Colts back on Wild Card weekend in 2010 and thought it was hilarious when the Jets beat them. Whoops.

Gurley would give us a weapon we haven't bad in a long time.
Although I would settle for Tevin Coleman.
Any other back taken before the 5th would make me cringe.

this doesn't bother me as much as losing Vereen, but it sure was nice to know that we had Blount, Ridley and Vereen (and Gray) as weapons for TB in addition to a healthy Gronk and Amendola as well as Julian and LaFell.

A year ago, we had Ridley, Vereen, and Bolden. We were in fine shape at RB, given that we are a passing team. Now, we have Blount, White, Cadet and Gaffney. Yuch!

I think blount is only signed through this upcoming season and will 29 this year. If we can draft one of the top rbs locking in a 4-5 yr contract I'm all for it.

Now he gets to pad his stats with a run-run-run-punt offense. Not bad for him.

My condolences to the Ridley family on the death of their loved one's career.

I lost confidence in ridley when he did that spin-o-rama move against the broncos a few years ago that caused him to fumble. Honestly, who runs with his rear end first into the pile?

True, that did not work out but that really had nothing to do with my main point. You want the Jets to Win sometimes if it helps the Pats especially when it comes to playoff contention. Not just blindly root against them every game. I always root for the worse of any two AFC teams naturally. It helps the Pats.

In 2010 those were two teams already in the playoffs. Most people probably figured we matched up better with the Jets than the Colts. Also, who wouldnt want to take their chances against Snachez if the alternative is Manning. I mean Manning VS Sanchez?

I want to face Sanchez

Also, any time Manning gets into the playoffs we want him eliminated. At that point in his career he was a threat to catch TB in Superbowls. Or, just even win another one which would have mean that the Manning worship would have went into double overdrive.

I want Manning out of the tourney first things first.

Regarding the Jets Pats game after the Colts game. The Pats did not get it done. They missed a few close plays that could have won it. Whatever. Dosent mean wanting to face the Jets was the wrong call.

Colts could have gone on to win the SB if they beat the Jets. That would have been misery.

Fumbling ...Bumbling...Sxtumbling

Also I'm not worried about facing him, BB will nullify Ridley completely.
