2015 NFL Mock Drafts

Come on guys, it's a mock draft. The prospects Hawaiian is picking are more important than the mechanics of any projected trade.

Hawaiian takes screen shots which actually refute his point. A fourth round pick only moves you up a few slots in the second round. Doh! Defiantly wrong.

Here's my mock, rounds one through four:

1.- Byron Jones CB Conneticut
2. Trade up, move up 10-15 spots for 2nd rounder and second 3rd rounder- Carl Davis- DT Iowa
3. Tre Jackson G Florida State
4a. Mike Davis RB South Carolina
4b. Paul Dawson LB TCU

It would have to be the first pick. You can't trade comp picks, or so im told.

Trade #32 and #96 to the Vikings for #45, #76, and #137

#45-Byron Jones, CB, Connecticut (#55)
#64-Ali Marpet, OG, Hobart (#80)
#76-Marcus Hardison, DL, Arizona State (#95)
#97-Steven Nelson, CB, Oregon State (#101)
#101-Mike Davis, RB, South Carolina (#103)
#131-Nick Marshall, CB, Auburn (#177)
#137-Shaquille Mason, OG, Georgia Tech (#173)
#177-Deon Simon, DL, Northwestern State (#247)
#219-Marcus Rush, LB, Michigan State (#282)
#253-DeAndre Smelter, WR, Georgia Tech (#381)

Wow! Nice mock and I like the trade. To get jones and an extra pick would be a bb steal. Great work.

Yes, I like the symmetry of the 2013 Jamie Collins/Vikings trade.. same partner, same kind of hyper athletic player and you can be sure that the Vikings screw the pick up..

Doubt Jones will be there at #45 though..

When you have a draft with only 15 to 20 guys with a first round grade, there will be a lot of juxtaposition from the late first round until the middle of the second round.

Bottom line is some we think should go later will be over drafted and some we think should go early will slide.

I definitely could see something like; Jones, Marpet and Hardy. I like all 3 picks and Mike Davis too. I seriously doubt Ogbuehi lasts until 97. CBS has him there. But, he won't be. I'd love to get Hardison there instead. But, I think he's gone too.

Wilson, Evans and Simoncould crack the 53 with a strong camp too.

That's a very interesting mock, B6. I like a lot of your choices. Here's where I would differ with your choices.

1. I don't think there is any chance to get Jones at 45, though he's one of my 3 favorite CB's

2. Marpet might be high here, though I can see him going that high, his measurables are insane. However, we are all looking to add an upgrade at LG THIS year. As good as Marpet's upside might be, I have a hard time seeing him jumping from D3 to starting in the NFL in 9 months. Nice pick, just not what we need THIS year.

3. Love the Hardison pick, right now he's my top non-first round pick DT

4. I have an extreme desire to pick up a CB over 6'1, but if its not to be, I'm beginning to like Steve Nelson more and more. Hard to find anything really negative about him to the point where I'm starting to wonder how he'll get out of the 2nd.

5. Love the Nick Marshall pick. Doesn't look like there are any 6'2 CB's worthy of a pick, so I think it would be well worth the pick to grab one with decent measurables, good size, and a competitive nature. He have the picks and roster to risk that pick. We need size at the position, and Marshall is as good as anyone out there, though I wouldn't expect much more than ST's next year

6. The rest are OK with me. I'd just as soon use those last 2 picks on injury risks, position changes, or great athletes who jus might end up being football players.

7. Since, like I said, I can't see Jones there at 45, we'd have a lot of options at 45 if we went in another direction. There could be a decent 2nd round edge rusher there, though its not something we need, if Buchannon or Moore show some improvement to go along with Ninko, Sheard, and Jones

I'm beginning to think that this might be a spot to go for the speed LB, not only for depth, but because its a position of need these days. I'm not a big fan of Shack Thompson, but a Shack Thompson-type could be a useful situational player to take first

New mock!

A different twist on it for fun. My all offensive mock

#32 - Trade down for #50 & #82

#50 - Nelson Agholor - WR
#64 - Laken Tomlinson - G

-TRADE- #82 & #102 for #68

#68 - Tevin Coleman - RB

-TRADE- #96 & #132 for #88

#88 - Ali Marpet - G
#97 - Mike Davis - RB

And the rest are cut.

QB - 2 Brady Gara
WR - 6 Edelman Lafell Amendola Agholor Dobson Slater
TE - 3 Gronk Chandler Hooman
RB - 5 - Blount Coleman Davis Cadet Bolden
OL - 9 - Solder Tomlinson Stork Wendell Vollmer Marpet Flemming Cannon Kline

The key to this draft is next year though

Agholor can replace Amendola as #3. Coleman/Davis can carry the load if you can't reup blount.

The line will be great with Tomlinson (the instant starter improving) and Marpet (the high upside guy) later this year and next year.

We really don't need 2 guards and 2 rb's. Just sayin. No prob if you went; Agholar, Tomlinson and Coleman. Have to hit the defense after that though.

Agholar does not play fast or sudden, but has a knack for getting open. He is intriguing.

Love reading your mock drafts on here and now decided to do my own.

1.32 A.J Cann, G

2.64 Alex Carter, CB

3. 96 Marcus Hardison, DT

3. 97 Taiwan Jones, ILB

4. 101 Mark Glowinski, G

4. 131 Kenny Bell, WR

6. 177 Karlos Williams, RB

7. 219 Kristian Sokoli, DT

7. 253 DeAndre Smelter, WR

Let me know what you think.

Good job. I'll take any mock with Hardison, Sokoli and Smelrer on it. I don't know much about Alex Carter so I can't comment on how good he is as a CB but I'm hoping that Cann would be had with our second pick, either at 64 or in a trade up. I'm not convinced he's good enough to be taken with our first pick.

Well it was a mock where I was only doing O. : P If I was doing a real mock I would probably go D with the first 2 picks.

Luke Easterling has a 4 round mock out. Not terrible. Just don't want to double-dip at wr.

1. Jalen Collins - CB - LSU
2. Tyler Lockett - WR - K-ST
3. Tre McBride - WR - William&Mary
3. TJ Yeldon - RB - Alabama
4. Jamil Douglas - OL - Arizona St
4. Ellis McCarthy - DT- UCLA

I don't think Collins foot injury is a big deal. Big corner at a position of need. No prob with him. I've been touting Lockett for months. But, I would
rather have Abdullah here. Love McBride at 96. We could take Hardison at 97 given his board. I'm not a fan of McCarthy. I'd take Ramik Wilson - LB - Georgia.

1. J. Collins - CB - LSU
2. A. Abdullah - RB - Nebraska
3. T. McBride - WR - William&Mary
3. M. Hardison - DT- Arizona St
4. J. Douglas - OL - Arizona St
4. R. Wilson - LB - Georgia

Sign a veteran guard Wisniewski or Connolly. Sign C. McCarthy. And, let's roll. Getting a little cap space by extending Solder and re-working
Mayo's deal.

I am OK with the Collins pick at 32, but only if I am convinced that his recovery from surgery is progresing satisfactorily.
I would also consider OLmen Jake Fisher or DJ Humphries as a LT-to-LG conversion if Solder is extended, LT of the future if he isn't. AJ Cann is another consideration only if he can handle LG.
And there's OLB/SS Shaq Thompson; DT Carl Davis; and DE Danielle Hunter, whom I now favor ahead of Odighizuwa.

I do not like the Lockett pick at 64. If Collins is the pick at 32, then LG Ali Marpet would be my pick at 64, with Plan B being DE/OLB Lorenzo Mauldin.

I can live with McBride at 96/7, but I really don't like the Yeldon pick. I'd rather have RB David Johnson.

Since I already drafted Marpet, my pick at 101 would be DT Marcus Hardison.

I don't like the Ellis McCarthy pick, at all. If an edge defender had yet to be picked, then I would consider Max Valles here.

I would to see Thompson fall to 32, just to see if bb would take him. As a coverage lb/big safety he could carve out a nice roll in our defense.

With revis and browner gone, Chung's roll on defense will involve more coverage and I do not know if he can handle it.
