And, if we're too dumb to figure out which team we're voting for, then we don't deserve to win.
Maybe they should go read the rulebook.

Yeah, I just cast another half dozen votes while waiting for a phone call. OMG! I must be a cheater! I'm sooooooooooooooo ashamed.Vote until the percentage changes!
We are now winning by 1%
The Pats should win easy with SB XLIX. There's not much of a comparison really. The Pats beat the best defense in years and they scored more points than Pittsburgh did against a 9-7 Cards team.

I am not "giving them credit," nor "patting them on the back." Neither the Jets nor the Bills were good teams. Had the Colts played to win those games, it is probable, though not certain, they would have won and finished 16-0. The Colts were widely criticized at the time for sitting down their starters and not going for the perfect season. They paid the price by losing in the first round. But they didn't, they were gutless and benched players.. and then went 1 and done because they're a spineless team that lacks physical and mental toughness.. and why nobody will remember that 2009 team any more than they remember the Panthers, vikings, Steelers or whoever in some random year.
you can't say they would have gone 16-0, that's giving them credit for something they didn't have the balls to attempt and therefor should not be recognized or patted on the back for "almost" going 16-0.
The Steelers came close one year with a 15-1 record
Simple really, when you have an organization that has won six rings you build up a large obnoxious band wagon fan base. This is a popularity contest nothing more and the Steelers have a large national fan base. The one today's Steeler fans were alive to see naturally gets the votes.
The General Public doesn't care for us?
Most of us feel that this is more than obvious. I'm rather shocked that you'd even bother attempting to question or dispute it.
time.
The General Public doesn't care for us? The game made the finals! Over any Cowboys/Giants/49ers/Broncos/Colts Super Bowls. There's no shame in getting second place here. It is beyond clear that the general public appreciated how fantastic Super Bowl 49 was. And Super Bow 43 was a damn good game too.
Interesting how all these Steeler fans can't stand to stay in Pittsburgh. So true.
I'm stuck on this otherwise wicked pissah day cruise with folks from wife's bible study. I'm the apostate but anyway they're all Steelers fans to the core. Long lectures about how there are more Steelers bars in FL, in Europe and the world than any other team. Blah, blah, blah.
I can be a consummate wiseass in person (this may be hard to believe, I know) but I said nada about Ben the Rapist or who won the SB. I think sainthood is due for me now.

So maybe THAT's why our lead dropped overnight from 58--42 to 56--44!By the way, I sure hope I'm the only Mensa member who's been clicking on the game the whole time WITHOUT clicking on the "Vote" button below that you have to scroll down to see.
