How I feel when I talk about that Butler INT

Try top 2 in each category :)
Well, I was talking about haters, they might never put those guys in the top 2, but begrudgingly I doubt they leave them out of the type 5. I work with a lot of Jet's fans, and hell, they were more confident the Pats were gonna win than I was, and most of them consider Brady as the greatest ever.

Watching the SB 49 replay now on NFLN. That little ankle swipe by Butler on an open Lockette halfway through the fourth quarter was huge. Helped hold Seattle to a three and out. It probably should've been called for interference but was just subtle enough to be missed by the refs. Otherwise, would've been a first down around the 40. That was huge. Malcolm had at least four big plays in that game I'm aware of.

I was surprised the refs didn't call it ton us to be honest

Butler's arm swipe also looked like he was breaking his fall going forward so I can see how it was missed real-time. It looks more obvious on slow-mo.

On one hand, it really shouldn't have had to come down to that. We thoroughly outplayed sea three quarters out of four and should have won handily rather than having to watch the whole second half under so much stress.

But on the other hand this was probably the best possible outcome. The haters were waiting to pounce on the pats if they lost this game and this play Will now haunt them forever. If the pats win by double digits it's just eh well what can you do. But to have them a yard away and snatched away like that, butlers play was the greatest possible ending in this situation.
I've said this before, but the way I see it Kearse's miracle catch and Butler's miracle interception canceled each other out. The Pats thoroughly earned that victory in the fourth quarter.

I don't know about you guys, but I am still on cloud 9. i have to pinch myself - the patriots won their 4th Lombardi! I would really be sad if BB and Brady ended their careers with only 3 rings.

I think I could've lived with them having won only 3 rings... But not with them having lost 3! Amazing how much "The Butler Did It" means in the greater scheme of things.

GREATEST....
INDIVIDUAL...
PLAY....
OF ALL TIME

I lost my voice after that INT. Up to that point I was praying and stunned at a 3RD miracle catch to be our undoing on yet another shot at the elusive 4th.

With all the morons and their witch hunts and idiot haters spewing Deflategate and Spygate BS at me it was vindication on a level only dreamed of in "Hollywood". It was the zen moment of my Patriot Fandom...

Screw Bettis now it's Brady's turn for "One For the Thumb". Except Brady will have won em all himself:D

That 4th quarter still feels like a haze to me, so many ups and downs...I wish I had a camera on me for that quarter. I still remember the reaction I had when Butler made the pick. At that point at our SB party, it was just me, my wife and another couple (casual football fans). I remember freaking out hugging my wife and the husband was trying to explain to the wife that the game was over. Al Michaels call of that play will stay with me forever.

And the hangover the next morning...soooooo worth it!!!

Yeah that was a big no call. It happens and I'm thrilled we got a break on that one. Could've been a dagger too when a Wilson almost hit Kearse or Baldwin on a deep pass on Butler but the guy dropped it. They had some luck, we had some luck. Thank god it swung our way this time.

There were plenty of no calls going the other way too. It all averages it out.

It is one of the greatest moments as a sports fan. I loved winning the first one. The next two were great but didn't feel as special. The two losses felt like having my heart ripped out but both times the Giants played a better game sadly. I don't follow Baseball, basketball or hockey so no team to cheer there. The team I coach haven't had a winning season in 5 years the team I play for have been knocked out in the divisobal game 3 years running. In te UK I am a big fan of my local soccer and rugby teams the rugby team have not looked close to a decent team in the last 15 years and the soccer team owners are happy being average and refuse to try in any cup competitions. So that pick to me was 10 years of heartache earlier the team I coach for had or biggest game of the season vs cross town rivals and I said that we could lose but the pats winning was not an option I could handle.
